John Dean Knows How to Get Rid of Clarence Thomas
Reader Supported News ^ | June 28, 2011 | John Dean

For good reason, there has been serious hand-wringing over what to do about the ethical lapses of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. The fact that Supreme Court justices are exempt from the code of ethical conduct which applies to the rest of the federal judiciary; the problem of bringing a sitting justice before the Congress to question the conduct of a constitutional co-equal; the reality that justices cannot easily defend themselves against news media charges; the defiant, in-your-face posture of Thomas—the list goes on but it need not. There is clear precedent for how to deal with the justice. Thomas could be forced off the bench.

I can't believe that John "The Weasel" Dean is still around spewing his garbage.

Well, no one ever accused Dean of being a brain surgeon...

If Dean really wanted to do some good (which I will never believe), he would address the the fact that Kagan is infinitely unqualified to be there.

John was never a good lawyer nor does he work well with others.

Maureen had him pegged a long time ago and got the heck away from him. He's a hyper rat partisan attempting to wrap himself in a cloak of honesty and respectability.

After scanning the article I was surprised to see that Dean wants him thrown off for ethical lapses. Why bother to engage in an ‘electronic lynching’? His friends are the party of rope lynching. Why doesn’t he just call for a straight out lynching?

Interesting that Mrs. Dean has no interest whatsoever in Elena Kagan’s “violations of ethical conduct.”

Something liberals do well is write thousands of words without making a lucid point. Good work, John Dean.

Watergate was all about John Dean grabbing records that proved his wife was a former call girl. The DNC office that was the supposed target, was on the other side of the build from where the break in occurred. Dean lied to the “plumbers” and to Nixon about the nature of the “mission”.

Defending yourself against this one isn't hard. "I am not going to take serious the rantings of a criminal."

Nope, he was/is not. If you have questions about John simply ask George Gordon Liddy about him.

"In short, nothing is going to happen to Clarence Thomas. No one is going to truly challenge his conduct, and he will sit on the Supreme Court until he feels like leaving."

Gee, this guy sho did spew a bunch of venom and slobber, only to arrive at a rather logical conclusion.

The World, as John Dean sees it. From which planet, I can't quite tell. (Emphasis mine:

------------------------------------------

"There are two problems with this strategy. First, the Democrats would never do to Thomas what Republicans did to Fortas. For the Republicans, seats on the Supreme Court are worth whatever it takes to get them. They play hardball.

For Democrats, well, they play beanbag over judicial appointments. Democrats are willing to toss a few stingers, but never do they truly want to hurt anyone. They cannot help it that they are nice people, and ruthlessness does not work for them. This is why a minority of Republicans in the United States can control the overwhelming majority of Democrats and independents who lean left.

Nonetheless, Crow continues to bestow endless gifts and favors on Thomas or fund matters of serious interest to the justice, such as giving Thomas a $19,000 Bible that once belonged to Frederick Douglass, donating $175,000 to finance a library project dedicated to Thomas in Savannah, Ga.,

My goodness - building a LIBRARY dedicated to the Justice in his home town - THE HORROR

Pull the thread? Why? It's a useful demonstration of how our opponents' "minds" work.

I caught John on three different occasions carrying a large valise with him as he visited the original "Cuban Watergate Defendants" billeted on the 7th floor of my building.

This valise contained large amounts of money to be paid to those fella's to SHUT UP about certain things.

John isn't an honest man.

Old buddy of mine from high school was his cellmate for a while ~ huge man with hands that could crush a mere football. I have no idea what he did to John, but John was never the same after that.
