President Obama is off to Camp David for the weekend. Will it be fun? It's too remote! Too much nature! It's outdoorsy, and Obama is really not. First lady Michelle Obama revealed to the NYT what seemed somewhat self-evident: Obama doesn't really care for the place.
POLITICO recently documented the president's limited record of Camp David visitation. But this weekend — Malia's 13th birthday is Monday — off the family went, to the Catoctin Mountains. They all traveled separately, this time.
This afternoon, Obama boarded the smaller Marine One and departed solo.

I said on another post I believe he sits in meetings off in the corner playing video games or watching ESPN or texting Michelle and every now and then someone says “Agree, Mr. President?” and he justs nods his head.
I truely don’t believe he makes any decisions. This guy is the biggest puppet to ever occupy the white house. The scary thing is the puppet masters don’t appear to be much smarter than he does when he talks off the cuff.

I don’t believe there’s a golf course at Camp David, so that’s the biggest reason The Anointed One doesn’t spend much time there. On the other hand, how many trips has he made to the golf course at Andrews AFB? Doesn’t he already hold the record for most rounds of golf during a first term? If the golfing was better at Camp David, he’d be there every weekend.
What? He couldn't ride share? The bastard! Betcha he took the airborne diamond lane too!
While I commend the president for not choosing to blow 80 million dollars for a quick romp to New England, I'll chide him for blowing 40 million for a romp to Camp David while demanding congress stays at work this weekend to fix the budget that he himself advocated.
I sometimes wonder what might have happened if Obama bothered to actually show up for work as a senator...
Same reason he dissed the Driskill Hotel in downtown Austin for the new - and falling apart - W. Too many rich white people have stayed there. Truly a reverse snob.
How many times has he gone to Camp David? If it’s remote/private and out of the way, then I’m sure this is probably the main reason, he hates it. It doesn’t fulfill his narsistic need of public admiration. lol

Do you know of any photos of Obama showing affection for his wife? I’ve never seen any sign of affection to or from either one towards the other. I think they live parallel lives; and she probably excuses her ridiculous taxpayer funded vacations by telling herself what horrible sacrifices she is making as a “captive” in the White House - so she “deserves” the Platinum Travel Plan.
I have no idea. But it’s probably marxists that include Axelrod and Ayers.
I think he's in awe of her.
Marrying a “real” black woman gave the 50% white Baraq “street cred”. Same for attending Rev. Wright’s Palace of Hate.
Without those, he’s not a “real” black guy, and never gets on that first rung of the political ladder.
