Police are investigating two armed robberies in Milwaukee's Riverwest neighborhood overnight but say reports of a "mob" are not accurate.

This is being downplayed much like the far less violent mob that marched in the hood in Peoria a week or so back.
That was no “group of wild teenagers.”
That was a government-protected pack of human jackals who wouldn’t stand a chance outside the neutered, gutless confines of their urban preserve.
Riverwest? West of Humboldt? North Avenue area? I don’t recall that name being used when I lived on the East Side 35/40 years ago.

I lived on 13th and State during the riots. That was interesting! State Guard outside our door in a jeep with a mounted machine gun!
I used to live in Riverwest 12-15 years ago - had a flat for $370 a month with heat included. It’s a couple miles south of UWM and across the river. Used to be full of colleg kids, recent grads, musicians, squatters, hipsters, punks and hippie burnouts. I think lefties celebrate the mix as “diverse.”
The main requirements for living there were 1) never rent a ground floor apartment or flat. 2) make sure there were at least two locked doors between you and the outside 3) female friends are not allowed to visit unescorted from car to the house and 4) never walk alone after 5 pm.
The blacks from the area to the west would come into the neighborhood and break into homes during the day and cars at night. Once in a while they would shoot and kill people in muggings during the day. Mostly preying on white college kids. No one reported it, but it’s the way the neighborhood works - everyone is poor, but only one group gets to ravage and pillage the neighborhood. No one speaks up because it wouldn’t be politically correct.
Two incidents stick out -
1) A UWM student, music major and composer, shot two blocks from my apartment while walking to the laundromat on a weekend afternoon. He crawled to a tavern and died there.
2) A college girl killed and assaulted on the street over near Downer Ave. Standard Riverwest m.o., the ghetto killers “commuting to work.”
The whole neighborhood should be bulldozed.
We might be seeing that again.
You’re right. I find much more information in comments sections than in the PC articles. I’ve noticed some papers are disabling comments on some of these stories claiming violations of the paper’s policies.
See the link below for reporting on Milwaukee Crime Crews - basically a temp agency for robberies and crimes. Loosely affiliated and ready for impromptu crime sprees - violent and very brazen, the “flash mob” line is just a softened title for something that has been running rampant in the city for a while; breakouts of violent and antisocial behavior from the city’s “underpriveleged.”
A mexican version, the Bay View Bandits, pulled off 30+ armed robberies in two weeks a few years ago - restaurants full of people, stores, gas stations, etc. The police started parking empty cars all over to deter the spree, but it continued. One of the getaway cars was dumped near my house. I moved 25 miles from the city afterward and vowed to never own anything in Milwaukee county ever again.

It is hard to watch a dissolution of common sense in this country. These mobs are a product of coddling and social programs that have taken an already dis-advantaged race, and turned them into helpless wastes of humans.
How can not holding someone accountable for their actions help them? How can providing excuses for behavior help them?
It is sad to say , but tough love will be the only way out of this problem , but you will never get a politician to allow the suffering needed to correct 60 years of liberal policies.
If the only way to survive was to work, they would work, or they would perish.
Survival of the fittest has been a natural selection process for all forms of life, but now the human race has intervened in that process and the fittest are preyed upon by the weak and the weak have become the majority.
The future does not bode well and unless we reverse these detrimental hand out programs and excuse making for the weak , we are destined for failure.
How do you rationalize with people with limited brain capacity?
Around 2002, MPS had to revise their bussing strategy because the “fairness” bus transfer point downtown was leading to absolute anarchy just blocks from city hall. Every day around 3, busloads of kids would fill the intersection of Wisconsin and Water (one of downtown’s busiest) and block traffic. I have video somewhere of one especially bad day where they were taking bags from people and throwing them in the river, were jumping on cars and fighting in the street. Screaming and yelling and absolute chaos - a daily riot. After a few days of this, the police started showing up and the problem stopped.

It was a mob, it was Black teens, as the mother with the (getting rare) whole Black Family in the park said: “Where are the parents?”
Where? 80% of black kids are born without a Dad married to their Mom. Welfare, social worker policies, and the elite cultural disrespect of marriage really have raised a near-feral generation of Dad-free black youth.

There will be national reporting when there is a Goetz Moment. It will be RACIST! and “unexpected!”

Have you seen anyone keeping track of all these similar events? We’re getting up to quite a number this year. Philly, Chicago, Peoria, Milwaukee, San Francisco area, etc.

To do so would be considered culturally insensitive, racist, and deemed worthy (by the complicit media) of more attention from law enforcement than the actual acts being committed by these animals.
We have a "problem area" here in Dallas at the Can! Academy on Ross Av. It has been referred to as the Dallas last-stop-before-winding-up-in-the-can Academy as most of them are there because DISD will not let them in anywhere anymore.
Next stop? Prison.
Every day at 3:00pm three to five police cars occupy the left turn lane on both sides of the intersection in front of the place and 5-6 cops are on foot at just the single DART bus stop. More are spaced up and down Ross for a few blocks.
Why? So they will not fight/riot/attack against the illegals that hang out up and down Ross Av. waiting for day work. The cops have to form that physical barrier every day.
Sometimes that is not enough and they get into fights among themselves at the Sonic right next to the place on the same side of the street. 60 to 100 at a time. You can hear all the fists hitting faces from your car while driving past, windows up, AC on.
They have virtually reverted to Afrikaans tribalism.
