And we've seen which side the MSM takes, either in spreading a false story or hyping a story, while burying anything that will hurt the party they favor -- the Democratic Party. The MSM is joined at the hip with the Left and they will make Republicans look evil. The MSM will tell middle America and the poor that evil, selfish Republicans cling selfishly to what they have and don't care about their misery or their problems (but that the Left does, the unions do -- that socialism is the way -- that the rich must equally share).
We're reading and hearing about increased "mob" behavior and violence in everyday places -- places Americans never gave a moment's worry about being safe before. U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder told the country that people in the U.S. who did not belong to "a historically oppressed group," that they should not expect protection from this administration.
The Left is priming the pump. As the title of this piece says, they have unveiled their weapon of the future.
The future is here.
We can not duck this any longer.
...has been occurring in Wisconsin over the past few months: a nearly open civil war instigated by the left in order to test an array of new tactics.Gotta love how the leftists are equated with the Nazis and Fascists.
The Democrats are fighting so dirty abecause the evisceration of the unions will cost them huge amounts of money. It’s no exaggeration to say it will bleed them white.
I say we ought to go after the second leg of their three-legged stool too, and bring in tort reform that will put 80% of lawyers right out of business. We can finish them off for a generation at least, if we continue to fight just as viciously as they do.
And where do we think the TSA fits in all this? Hmmm.....
Excellent analysis and article by whom Frank Rich described as a “right wing screed”. If that elitist leftie queer thinks poorly of you, it’s a true compliment.
I would venture a guess some of the “leaders” of this leftist revolt got their start on the University campus at Madison, and other places, 45 years ago.
...."What all this amounts to is the baptism of fire of what I have taken to calling the "liberal superstructure." This superstructure is the vast constellation of advocacy groups, think tanks, single-issue outfits, unions, and various other flotsam constructed by the left over the past half-century or so. There are literally thousands of these groups, ranging from the ACLU and the Sierra Club with their hundreds of thousands of members to the local "Friends of the People's Venezuela" outfit which amounts to a retired feminism professor and her six cats. These organizations are ubiquitous, universal, and networked to a fare-thee- well. They are also liberalism's last great hope of controlling politics in the United States.
It's scarcely arguable that, in the political sense, liberalism is on the ropes. Obama spent their last nickel. They have lost the House and will lose the Senate, with little chance of regaining them in the near future. The same is true of the White House once the messiah gets the bum's rush come 2012. Liberalism is on the skids, its programs uniform failures, its ideology barren, its slogans worn out, its long hold on the independents being relentlessly pared down by the Tea Parties.
So what is a political movement to do, particularly one as fanatic and apocalyptic as this one? Well, if you have an alternate system made up of outside organizations not subject to governmental oversight, a system populated with self-selected fanatics and true believers, a system poised and ready to march, you can do what was done in Wisconsin. You can turn the superstructure loose to threaten the public peace, smash things up, abuse the electoral process, create a media spectacle, and pressure the state to do things your way. You can use nonpolitical organizations (in the electoral sense) to get a political result....."
Each Line on this list has LINKS to more LINKS and more groups: Lists of Lists of Lists of the Superstructure of the Left ready to join up And there are many more radical groups and organizations not listed, add to that the many groups who will fold like a cheap suit in the face of so many.
Ping for later
Take the T out of TSA, and you will see the historical context.
The SA was effectively eliminated during the “night of the long knives”.

"I wish this book had never needed to be written.
It almost came too late.
America is recklessly accelerating toward economic disaster. Fed Up! may be the last warning sign to the danger that lies ahead.
Rick Perry, Texas governor for the past decade, is uniquely qualified to offer a firsthand perspective on why the United Statesthe most successful civilization in human historyis being threatened with economic collapse......." Source
The coming civil war will be between those pigging put in the public trough, and those of us who labor to fill it. The trough is empty because the pigs got greedy, and now expect us to labor harder to refill it.
The only point where I disagree with the author is that Soros wasted his money on Obama.
While Obama is a failure from a leadership perspective.....he could have gotten a lot more accomplished while the Dems had the fillibuster-proof margins......Obama is a tool to be used to stir up the unaligned mobs in our inner cities.
Once the nominees are chosen, expect these mobs to turn our cities to ashes as they rebel against the “racist” nation that wants to fire the first black president.
They will claim, as always, that we have always been a racist nation, that the founders were racists and that the Constitution is a racist document that must be eliminated.
Next year will be a defining moment in US history.
“...and Stalin backing the “Republicans” (actually a motley gaggle of various left-wing elements).”
And Hemingway and Hollywood romanticizing the commies every step of the way.
What the democrats will try to bring down on us will make the Spanish Civil War and Nazi atrocities seem like an evening in a knitting circle.
The article: “It failed to overawe the Wisconsin state senate. It failed to halt Gov. Walker’s bill. It failed to vote Justice Prosser out of office, and it has now failed to enmesh him in a faked criminal incident.”
Thomas Edison: “I didnt fail ten thousand times. I successfully eliminated, ten thousand times, materials and combinations which wouldnt work.”
Horror movie lesson: Make sure the monster’s dead before you decide the struggle is finished.
These tactics may be new to the American left/liberals, but they have a long and “distinguished” history amongst groups such as the National Socialist German Workers’ Party during the 30s, and the Italian Partito Nazionale Fascista.
The democrats have been dreaming of a global communist state for 150 years, they can taste it now.
They would reduce the planet to a cinder before giving up. Anyone that does not realise that is a fool.
Very interesting reading, thank you for posting.
Federation of Teachers, On Launch of Worldwide Quality Public Services Campaign
WASHINGTONThe American Federation of Teachers joins with workers around the world to launch a new campaign aimed at advancing quality public services in every nation.
The AFT is proud to be a full partner in the Council of Global Unions Quality Public ServicesAction Now! campaign to support investment in the services that create jobs and provide the foundation for long-term economic growth. The council is highlighting and supporting essential public services that keep our communities strong and help build sustainable, healthy economies.
From Wisconsin to Cairo, citizens have been fighting efforts to keep workers silent. As public employees in Wisconsin continue their struggle to maintain collective bargaining rights, Wisconsin has been selected as a pilot site in the Quality Public ServicesAction Now! campaign, through the AFT-affiliated Wisconsin Federation of Nurses and Health Professionals and AFT-Wisconsin.
Defending public services and the workers who provide them is a worldwide challenge, and the AFT is standing with allies around the globe to maintain those services and the rights of public employees. Thats why I led an AFT delegation that visited Egypt to meet with the independent Egyptian unions whose efforts proved decisive in bringing down the corrupt regime that ruled their country for decades.
Bump & a Ping
Demographics say otherwise
Any gains by us will be short lived, soon Texas will go permanently Blue and it will be impossible to ever win a national election again.
This is NOT inevitable. A sense of “inevitability” is what the MSM ALWAYS tries to paint...so as to discourage rational, organized opposition to their hyper-emotional insane screaming and ranting.
It does mean that most of us who disdain or eschew politics will no have that luxury if we intend to remain free and carry the banner of individual freedoms into the heart of the 21st century, however. We will have to get up , go out, and do it.
“They would reduce the planet to a cinder before giving up. Anyone that does not realise that is a fool.”
Sad But True BUMP!
Any gains by us will be short lived, soon Texas will go permanently Blue and it will be impossible to ever win a national election again.
It's not necessarily foreordained. Our finances are crap. There's no prospect of an economic recovery on the horizon. Tons of zoning, labor and environmental laws need to be repealed. If we take the White House and the Senate in 2012, it's time to start with the 1960s anti-white immigration law. We don't need low/no skilled immigrants for the foreseeable future. It's time to import brains and bucks.
A good start, after repealing Obamacare, would be getting rid of every bill Teddy Kennedy ever wrote.
All FReepers should be aware of it and understand its significance.
It should be bumped at every opportunity.
The author failed to point out a very important point about these groups in the "liberal superstructure".
They virtually receive generous federal funding!
ACLU is generously compensated for every civil rights case it brings. That includes the suits brought by atheists and homosexuals, as well as those brought by minorities.
The Sierra Club receives grants to bring suit against "polluters" and, indeed, the EPA itself (when the EPA can't get Congressional clearance to regulate something, but can have their role mandated by a federal jodge).
Remember ACORN? The organization that received billions in government grants?
In other words, the taxpayers are helping to fund this "liberal superstructure". It's the very same game as the public employees unions play -- they negotiate with Democrats for their paycheck, then make a contribution (kick-back) to the Democrat party's campaign funds.
It is absolutely essential that a GOP Congress and a GOP President de-fund the "liberal superstructure".
Newt claimed he would take such action after the 1994 election. Regrettably, he never got around to it...
All our side has in this para-political war is the Tea Parties -- a bunch of amateurs lined up against a well-organized and well-funded mob. It's 1776 all over again...
And George Orwell, a socialist, learning the truth about socialism. And becoming an anti-Communist.
This is what attracted much of the German middle-class to the Nazis. They had lived through an attempted Communist takeover in Germany (the 1919 Spartacist Rebellion, seen Communists seize power in Russia, a bloody short-term Communist takeover in Hungary. They had heard about the terror-famine in Ukraine. And the Nazis were the only ones willing to fight the Reds in the streets.
Well. Worth. Reading.
Bump it right back
"What they're trying to do is take the jobs away from people working in this city," the mayor declared in his harshest criticism of the three-week-old protest that has caught the attention of the nation.
"They're trying to take away the tax base we have because none of this is good for tourism."
..............President Barack Obama on Thursday defended the protesters, saying they expressed "the frustrations that the American people feel. People are frustrated and the protesters are giving voice to a more broad-based frustration about how our financial system works." [end excerpt]
Anarcho-syndicalism originated close to the beginning of the twentieth century, and it remains a popular and active school of anarchism today and has many supporters as well as many currently active organisations. Anarcho-syndicalists, being socialist anarchists, vary in their points of view on anarchist economic arrangements from a collectivist anarchism type economic system to an anarcho-communist economic system.
Noam Chomsky was influenced by Rocker, writing the introduction to a modern edition of "Anarcho-syndicalism: Theory and Practice". A member of the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW), Chomsky is a self-described Anarcho-Syndicalist, a position which he sees as the appropriate application of classical liberalist political theory to contemporary industrial society: "Now a federated, decentralized system of free associations, incorporating economic as well as other social institutions, would be what I refer to as anarcho-syndicalism; and it seems to me that this is the appropriate form of social organization for an advanced technological society in which human beings do not have to be forced into the position of tools, of cogs in the machine. There is no longer any social necessity for human beings to be treated as mechanical elements in the productive process; that can be overcome and we must overcome it to be a society of freedom and free association, in which the creative urge that I consider intrinsic to human nature will in fact be able to realize itself in whatever way it will."
... The basic principles of anarcho-syndicalism are workers' solidarity, direct action, and workers' self-management. Workers solidarity means that anarcho-syndicalists believe all workers, no matter what their gender or ethnic group, are in a similar situation in regard to their bosses (class consciousness). Furthermore, it means that, in a capitalist system, any gains or losses made by some workers from or to bosses will eventually affect all workers. Therefore, to liberate themselves, all workers must support one another in their class conflict.
Anarcho-syndicalists believe that only direct action that is, action carried out by the workers themselves, which is concentrated on attaining a goal directly, as opposed to indirect action, such as electing a representative to a government position will allow workers to liberate themselves. Moreover, anarcho-syndicalists believe that workers organizations the organizations that struggle against the wage system, and which, in anarcho-syndicalist theory, will eventually form the basis of a new society should be self-managing. They should not have bosses or "business agents"; rather, the workers should be able to make all the decisions that affect them themselves." Groups w/links to more
The Community Organizer...in his element.
Welcome to OCCUPY TOGETHER, an unofficial hub for all of the events springing up across the country in solidarity with Occupy Wall St. As we have followed the news on facebook, twitter, and the various live feeds across the internet, we felt compelled to build a site that would help spread the word as more protests organize across the world. We hope to provide people with information about events that are organizing, ongoing, and building across the U.S. as we, the 99%, take action against the greed and corruption of the 1%.
We will only grow stronger in our solidarity and we will be heard, not just in New York, but in echoes across the world.
