The Eliot Spitzer experiment is over at CNN.
The network reshuffled its prime-time schedule on Wednesday, canceling the former New York governor's 8 p.m. show, "In the Arena."
Spitzer lasted less than a year at the network. He began on CNN's prime-time lineup last October paired with conservative columnist Kathleen Parker, who exited in February. The show never made a ratings dent in a tough cable news time slot dominated by Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly.
CNN is moving Anderson Cooper's news program, which now airs at 10 p.m., into the 8 p.m. time slot. Former CNBC personality Erin Burnett will host a show that is scheduled for 7 p.m. Eastern time.

More than likely, the pervert will run for office again.
They going to hire Weiner now?
“The Weiner Hour”
Golly, what a disappointment. That was such a great show.
... And nothing of value was lost.
If it last for more than four hours, see your doctor.
CNN didn’t “pull out” soon enough
CNN didn’t pull out Weiner soon enough.
CNN Pulls Out Weiner, Will future host Spitzer Swallow?
CNN is still on the air? That reminds me does anyone remember that show that use to be on Comedy Central..funny stuff..I think it was called MSNBC?
Replacement will be a gal with dark hair and a great smile. Her name is Virginia Gina. Her first guest will be Weiner
A show so lame that the Newsbusters crowd quit watching it....
CNN execs looked out for their buddies when they’re down and out. Yeah, I bet he will run again.
Looks like Client Number Nine will be showing up in the unemployment line again.
>>The Weiner Hour
If it last for more than four hours, see your doctor. <<
Watching Spitzer is like watching a freak of nature. Like a turtle with two heads or a cow with six legs. Weird as hell.
CNN must be smoking something....
this does free him up to resume choking escorts.
Don’t laff.....Used to be a show or magazine or something called something like “Stranger than Fiction” I’d say looks like a CNN winner if you aks me.
Yeah, CNN is still on the air. And when it comes to real-time coverage they are still the best. Their coverage of the tsunami in Japan was heads and shoulders above any other, including FoxNews.
That said, I never watch them unless there’s some special disaster or military action in a far away place. As for Spitzer, who made that dumb decision to hire him in the first place???
if CNN is looking for another dumb person to replace him they can take Shep Smith, Geraldo and Hannity. Heck, they can take all 3 for a combo deal!
CNN could hire Weiner - show they can showcase a disgusting Democrat too...
Maybe they should hire a conservative?
I’ll bet the disgruntled billionaire who got the hooker goods on ol’ Eliot dug around in the pile of stuff the investigators found but although bad, was not nearly as bad as being client number nine, and slipped it in to CNN over the transom so to speak.
Eliot will eventually learn, don’t screw with a multibillionaire
Media rehab is over.
Spitzie is revved up and ready to run again.
You’ll see the same thing for Weenie.
MSNBC will hire both of ‘em for a show named: “Spitz On Weiner!”
Cue the “Ha Ha” Simpson guy:
Now that's just wrong....
I just can’t picture a CNN show with “Spitzer and Weiner”. That would be hard to swallow.
Now a show with that airhead Ann Curry and the boys would make for an interesting title: “THe Curry Weiner and Spitzer Show”. It would definitely leave a bad taste in your mouth.
His father takes the cake though, has the blood of THOUSANDS of NYC residents on his hands who were slaughtered by criminals as he VETOED THE DEATH PENALTY 12 YEARS IN A ROW!!!!!
Homicidal maniacs figured as long as there was no chance they would face the gas chamber, best not to leave any witnesses, no matter how petty the crime.
The minute Pataki signed, the murder rate dropped 50%, and dropped another 25% when Giuliani doubled the amount of cops and told them not to worry about the ACLU.
There is a special place in hell for Mario, and his son has a spot right next to him.
No pity for the subjects of NYC and State though, if they are too stupid to flee, then they will get what they deserve.
Darn, just when I was going to watch it. Oh well, too late!
I guess it felt dirty, wrong and upside down like the rest of us.
Bud Light presents:
...(Real men of genius)
Today we salute you, Mr. Power Hungry Hypocrite Leftist Authoritarian Bully
...(Mr. Power Hungry Hypocrite Leftist Authoritarian Bully)
In your quest for higher political office and power you prosecuted everyone and ruined people in order to make a name for yourself...
...(You're an f'ing steamroller!)
Investment banks, research analysts, insurance companies, Native American tobacco retailers, $20 street hookers, jaywalkers, ticket scalpers, people who rip tags off mattresses, your mother
...(You're all going to jail)
The only person within a 500 mile radius you forgot to prosecute was yourself
...(Somebody convene a Grand Jury)
Other funny looking annoying rich men have to spend millions buying beautiful women condos, furs, BMW's, diamonds or proposing marriage in exchange for sex
...(where is the M3 convertible?)
You managed to get beautiful women by paying a miserly $80,000 for prostitutes over 10 years and risking criminal prosecution and public shame
...(Worth every penny)
Sure all pigs are created equal...but some pigs are more equal than others.
...(You're a special piece of pork!)
So crack open an ice cold Bud Light, oh $5,500 per hour call girl Governor...because the only people who were screwed here were the tax paying citizens
Nonsense. Just another faux conservative along the lines of David Brooks and Frum. They could have picked a real conservative who understands conservative ideology and was able to articulate it. Instead they chose Parker. Dana Loesch, Lars Larson, or Mark Levin all would have been good choices.
That picture is disgusting.
another worthless show which I’ve never watched bites the dust......
they should have gotten Spitzfong’s pal “Kristen” to co-host for better ratings....
Is CNN trying to get rid of Cooper?
Good; he’s a meat-head.
NY State voters are the dumbest voters in the country. They could have had John Faso, a pro-life, fiscal conservative, but instead they voted for Spitzer.
Easy on the eyes, too: (That's her on the right).
Thanks. I couldn't think of anything more pitiful or disgusting that they could sink to than spitzer, but you nailed it.
I guess I'm just numb. Have been since 1992, I think.
Comfortably so, by the way.
Make room for the WEINER!!!
Where are the pics of Elliot’s paramour?
“Spitzer lasted less than a year at the network. He began on CNN’s prime-time lineup last October paired with conservative columnist Kathleen Parker, who exited in February.”
The funniest thing is that Parker still calls herself a conservative. She’s always been nothing more than a lib pretending to be conservative:
Parker made news during the 2008 U.S. presidential election when she called on the Republican vice presidential nominee, Governor Sarah Palin, to step down from the party ticket, saying that a series of media interviews showed that Palin was “clearly out of her league.” Parker received over 11,000 responses, mostly from conservatives criticizing her.
On Larry King Live she said of President Barack Obama: “I’m a big fan of Barack Obama as he came into office, and was not one of those Republicans who wanted him to do badly. I didn’t want him to fail.” Parker does not believe that President Bill Clinton should have been impeached; at the same time, she believes Anita Hill’s allegations against Clarence Thomas. Recently she wrote that the best explanation for Glenn Beck’s Restoring Honor rally is that he is a former alcoholic and that in organizing the event he was displaying the “grandiosity of the addict.” In one of her columns, Parker called Tea Party protesters teabaggers. She referred to evangelical Christians in another column as “gorillas,” “low-brows,” and “oogedy-boogedy.”
In April, Kathleen Parker won the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Commentary with a selection of political opinion columns. On the MSNBC show Morning Joe she said that “it’s only because I’m a conservative basher that I’m now recognized.”
Weiner on a Spitz?
