CNN Cancels ‘In the Arena’ With Eliot Spitzer

CNN on Wednesday cancelled Eliot Spitzer’s 8 p.m. political talk show, “In The Arena,” after only nine months, and said it would shift Anderson Cooper’s 10 p.m. nightly newscast into the time slot.

You know, as badly as CNN does in cable news ratings, I’ll bet that it could be bought for chump change.

The way Fox has been drifting left the last couple years, somebody like the Koch brothers could buy up the network, staff it with UNCOMPROMISING conservatives, and meet the needs of the right on a daily basis.

I don’t doubt that the news gathering capacity of CNN might make its acquisition more complicated but I’m quite sure that most of the wrinkles could be ironed out.
