AFP - Iraqi authorities uncovered a mass grave with 900 corpses near the central city of Diwaniyah on Wednesday, believed to be Kurds killed during the rule of ousted dictator Saddam Hussein, an official said.
The corpses were found in the Shanafiya region, 70 kilometres (45 miles) west of Diwaniyah.

Last April, authorities said they had found another mass grave in Anbar province of western Iraq containing the bodies of more than 800 people, including women and children, executed during Saddam's regime.

Good thing that they'll at least know history records that the Western nations overthrew the hideous dictator Saddam and sent him to the gallows for his crimes.
IIRC, they found these all over the place all throughout the war.
His girl Samantha Powers is obsessed with "Responsibility to Protect" because of her longstanding outrage more wasn't done to respond to Saddam's acts of genocide in the late Iran/Iraq war period.
How Obama can claim Iraq was a "dumb" war and that regime change a bad idea yet be trying to cause Gaddafi to fall over speculation he might use chemical weapons like Saddam did in order to put down a revolution is hypocrisy of the worst kind.

During the Vietnam war, we held a pro-US/Vietnam rally at the Washington Monument in either late October or early November 1969. I had a large canvas sign on a cross of bamboo poles which said:
“REMEMBER THE KURDS AND HUE”
Appeared in Newsweek and on the Cover of Time magazine during that period of time.
That was 32 years ago. Looks like this new grave is making me sound like a Prophet. No, it was based on an extensive knowledge of how communists and Arab dictators operate. Nothing changes except that we have a Coward-In-Chief ruining America and abandoning our allies.
Even Neville Chamberlain wasn’t that bad.
I want to prophetize that Obama will be out of office by at least Nov. 6, 2012, if not before. I want to prophetize that the Democrats will be shellacked in the elections and sent to the unemployment lines to join those they betrayed.
I want to prophetize that Congress will hold investigations into treason by Obamie the Commie and his czars and advisors and appointees.
Let’s see if I call it right, again.
