Let’s see if I get this right:

1. I pay taxes.
2. I pay my own insurance.
3. Some of my taxes went to bail out a car company that uses overpaid corrupt union labor that can’t build vehicles with any lasting value
4. More of my taxes are going to pay to insure these vehicles.

The revolution is coming, and I volunteer to operate the guillotine.

Government Motors attempts to hurt another industry (insurance).

Of course, it is difficult to be sympathetic to insurnace companies...

>>> GM to offer free car insurance

That brilliant move should pull them out of the financial hot trouble!!!!11!1Eleventy...../s

Seriously, can’t we the people fire whoever came up with this idea, without their compensation?

Or whenever GM Insurance has to pay up, it is deducted from these geniuses’ salaries/compensation packages?

"We want to give residents of Oregon and Washington another reason to discover Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles," said Chris Perry, U.S. vice president of General Motors Marketing.

Wow!  Why don't you just issue them a "Discover American Taxpayer" credit card as well?

This is so far from legal that 0bama et al will work really hard to figure out yet another way around laws.

Good. The stock market is sensing that 0bama is turning into a flaming goofball and that he is becoming eminently beatable. Shhh. Don’t tell anyone!

I am boycotting GM and Chrysler forever because of their immoral actions in having the company nationalized, stiffing the rightful claimants on their assets, and sticking the American people with the bill. There is no situation in which I would buy, rent, or accept any GM product ever again. I don’t deal with crooks; that corrupt company is dead to me.

As for insurance, if any real company forms a connection with GM, I will drop any policy I have with them and boycott that company forever too. I closed my accounts with Citi and B of A, among others, after the TARP fiasco, and I’m willing to put insurance companies on the permanent boycott list too.

Your tax dollars at work. So nice of you to purchase car insurance for the libs in WA and OR so they will buy Government Motors cars instead of Prius and Leaf autos.
