We’re adding less than one job for every ten new people. Those who bother to work in the Obama economy are going to have to work VERY hard to support those who can’t find work and those who don’t bother to work.

What’s the U-6 number? THAT’S the one the MSM, if they had any integrity whatsoever, would be shouting from the rooftops—or they would if Bush was still around.

As we’ve discussed before, they continue to carry Obama’s water. Find a straight news story anywhere in this country that suggests Obama’s policies are whats holding this economy back-you can’t do it. Its everything but that. Too hot, too cold, too earthquaky, too tsunmai, too holiday. You name it, just not current and future government policies that are scaring the hiring folks off. Pure BS.

Get these clowns out of office. Republicans, DO NOT FLINCH on the debt ceiling. After that, Get rid of Obamacare.

Yeah, at minimum, that's what we need to get this country back on track.

If the Pubbies can't do those two things, we might as well rename this country as it won't offer anything near the level of opportunity and freedom it has in the past.

Economists expected gains of anywhere between 125,000 and 175,000.

The news from economists is Expectorated (sic).

Expectorate, as in eject or expel, as phlegm, from the throat or lungs by coughing or hawking and spitting, into the faces of the American public.

What we are seeing here IMHO is the public sector FINALLY taking a hit. Obama’s $800 billion stimulus was largely used to insulate government (state/local) from the Great Recession but now the money is running out and gov is being forced to cut back. I would be curious to see separate numbers of public vrs private sector jobs.

Moody's chief economist (Mark Zandi) calls these numbers a game changer in the debt ceiling debate and told CNBC, “This kind of job number changes the dynamic of the discussion on fiscal policy. There will probably be an introduction of more [economic] stimulus.

'O' is to speak on these numbers in a couple hours. He'll scold Republicans, infer it's Bush's fault, talk about "millionaires and billionaires," "corporate jets," a "balanced approach," "shared sacrifice."

they’re going to vote based on: ‘How do I feel about my own situation?

Liberals vote on what they "feel" and that is usually based on pop culture opinions.

E-Verify would free up enough jobs to lower the rate greatly.

Maybe we could require E-Verify for public assistance too.
