Hate crime and battery charges have been filed against three teens accused of hurling anti-gay insults at a man and threatening him with a knife in a confrontation that began in a bathroom at Chicagos Millennium station.
Mack Heard, 17, and Kendrick L. Towner, 18, both of Richton Park, were ordered held in lieu of $50,000 bail each when they appeared today before Judge Maria Kuriakos Ciesil on a felony hate crime charge and a misdemeanor count of aggravated battery in a public place.

Began in a bathroom...TSB (typical sodomite behavior)
Gosh, that’s great. Isn’t Chicago the place where roving gangs of unidentified yutes (”flash mobs”) are beating and killing people not so randomly (”you bleed white b**ch!”), but nobody calls it a “hate crime”?
You never got the memo did you?
Hate crimes are to be exclusively charged against white men.
Blacks, browns, dykes, homos and others don’t apply.
This will not go over well in ‘the hood’. It looks like the gays trump the blacks when it comes to being a victim...it will be trouble.
Same perps calling a straight victim a *mofo* would not qualify as a Hate Crime.
The intrinsic inequality of Hate Crime law is unconstitutional in my opinion.
I’d love to hear the Police alert about these “youts”.
I wonder what color they were, if any. Maybe was: Be on the lookout for three teenagers in the vicinity of the ** Mens’ Room.
8 guys from da hood just lynched a white jogger in Columbia, sc. No hate crime here.
Correct. It violates the 14th Amendment's equal protection of the laws clause.

Yep, 1st Amendment free speech for one, not to mention criminalizing thinking, which basically tosses out the last several thousand years of jurisprudence and turns the country into a thoughtcrime prison that would have made Mao grin.
But hey, it makes liberals feel better, so that's that.
