No, the Salon article is not clearly labeled as satire. If it were, there would have been no need for this article to have been written. Alex Pareene implied that some quotes were real when in fact none of them were.

"Because the Casey Anthony story was the only thing that happened in the news today, and because this is ostensibly "a blog about politics," I have rounded up (or possibly invented) the reactions of all the 2012 Republican contenders to the news of Casey Anthony's "not guilty" verdict."

The writer stated that his blog was not necessarily a political blog and goes further and stated that his quotes may have been invented.

It is not the fault of the writer that a reader may not be able to distinguish satire from reality even after being warned.
