Exactly what I have been preaching.

The Constitution states that all money bills will originate in the house.

Neither the senate nor the president can spend money on their own.

So the house should send a bill to the senate granting $zzz dollars and stating where it is to be spent.

The senate can either pass it or not, but if not the house should simply say: “That is it, endo of discussion. Next item on the agenda, please.”

Wen they can’t pay the fuel bill on the presidents jets, helicopters, limo, etc., I suspect the bill will be signed.

Yes, the EPA, the Department of Education, etc., would all shut down, but it is not true that checks to Social Security, Military, etc., would shut down.

Obama pulls this stunt a lot. There were reports that he walked out on the Prime Minister of Israel, leaving him sitting there alone while Obama ate dinner with his family. The Jewish delegation was not offered kosher food.

Also, remember that Newt Gingrich’s temper tantrum in 1995 helped turn the tide against Republicans. Clinton and Gore later admitted they they deliberately treated the Republicans like dirt in order to provoke them to rage.

How did the Repubs get him to do that (walk out)? Something to keep in mind - get him to keep walking.

Then it is still Reid and the Democrats problem. Besides, I don’t think Reid can hold his troops in line - too many incumbent RATS from red states facing electoral defeat next year; they ain’t gonna let Reid stop SS checks.

Obama can’t allow those agencies to be shut down because they all work directly for the democrats now. The NEA is now using our tax dollars to fund “art” that directly and openly calls for the recall of 4 republican governors and they’re doing it from within a tax funded art museum.

Obama has two negotiating positions: Arrogant and petulant.

Pushed over by whom, and how? Are you suggesting that the GOP leaders have cajones, a plan, and fortitude to shove it up his -—? I would love to believe so but call me pessimistic.

Governing is too hard for The Won. He probably had to go shoot some hoops to get over the ordeal of working for more than 30 seconds.
