No one is immune to the probing hands of the TSA ... including former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld ... who got the pat-down at Chicago's O'Hare airport this afternoon ... and TMZ has the pics.

Sources at the airport tell TMZ ... Rummy was all smiles during the body sweep and was "very nice" throughout the procedure.

Surprised they didn’t catch him with 250 pounds of crystal meth, 6 illegal handguns and a 14 year old dead boy in his carry on.
Maybe the DNC and DOJ didn’t get the memo over to TSA on time.
Some of the commenters sound like they should be on a jury somewhere.
We need to start demanding the Punk (obama) take HIS family through a typical, invasive TSA patdown...
You can thank your BOSS for starting this crap. And OBOZO for getting us where we are now.
He looks like he's sniffing Rumsfeld's nuts.
Yet more abject stupidity from yet another insane government bureaucracy.
I think this is nonsense. Rummy should have been passed through.
No, he shouldn’t have. This nonsense was implemented on his watch, too. He should feel the groping hands of his mistake, just like the rest of us.
I didn’t know SecDef was responsible for TSA. Huh. Learn a new thing every day....
Thousands Sniffing Around
Do not eat snakes, they’re not really brain food.
He was a key member of the executive branch. He could’ve said something. He didn’t.
Oh. OK. Then we should string the whole lot of ‘em up if they do well at their specific job, but somebody else on the team fails.
That makes sense to me. In baseball, when the Pitcher fouls up, they should trade away the Left Fielder who watched the ball fly over then fence, by your reasoning.
Look, on this forum of all places, the advocacy of one of our governmental masters who aided in the implementation of our abhorrent airport security system be allowed to skip such a system is truly unbelievable to me.
I had to remove boots, belt, and top while in military uniform coming home on leave from a combat tour in Iraq. I was actively fighting those MFing hajis over there, and still treated like a potential threat by our so-called “security.” You and your children are considered potential threats as well, and are subjected to such screening. You’ll pardon me if I don’t think Rumsfeld should be immune from the insanity he and his ilk have imposed upon us; I don’t care if he was directly responsible for it or not.
2nd best SOD after Dick Cheney.
Thanks for your service and I hope you dispatched many hajis to Allah.....and I pray that you will become a present snake eater soon.
Do you know who I am!
I cannot disagree with you...you have r/l experience. According to Incompetano, you are one of the biggest threats this country faces.
I also can’t thank you enough, soldier. Thank you for protecting me and my family.
I don’t know the inside baseball on Rummy, I’ve pretty much blamed Ridge and his boss for the fact I won’t fly anymore. I’m worried sick my company may want to send me somewhere. I have a hip replacement with surgical steel implants, and those bastards are going to gay-rape me if I have to run the gauntlet. I’m looking at another replacement this year.
My Platoon did their part, there’s no doubt about it. While I appreciate your prayer, that ship sailed on me about three years ago. I did my turn in the barrel, and I’ll always be proud of it, good experiences and bad alike.
Ridge and Bush are undoubtedly more culpable than Rumsfeld, but I highly doubt the head of the Defense Department wasn't in on the implementation of a major security operation. And even if he wasn't, he's an American citizen like the rest of us, so he should have to be subjected to the same nonsense as the rest of us.
Thanks for the thanks.
