It’s against the law to speak ill of these people?

That’s crazy.

That’s like saying these LGBT people have a right not to be offended.

Well, as the old saying goes about California, “What ain’t fruits is nuts.”

That's exactly what they're pushing for. They will seek to outlaw Christianity, whether it's under "hate crimes" (as has been done in Canada) or gov't school indoctrination as done here.

Nice. Thanks, Moonbat. Really.
I need to keep a closer eye on the curriculum at my kids’ schools, now. Things are sure going downhill here. If I didn’t have a great job that I love in the defense industry, and my kids’ grandparents, there’d be little to keep me here.

It'll be the usual suspects like Harvey Milk, plus all the icons who they often try to paint as a closeted homo, like Abraham Lincoln.

The radical homos have license to offend, but not be offended themselves.

Laws and policies like this one go to the heart of the personal turmoil that homosexuals suffer. Deep down inside they yearn for approval of their activity, way of thinking, personal morality and lifestyle.

They may be able to gain enough control over government to induce it to pass laws in their favor, but they can never be satisfied until people like myself will give them something that we cannot and will never do.

But this is not even about people like me. For I only know that homosexuality is wrong because God tells me in many places in Scripture that it is wrong. I must accept God’s judgment in the matter no matter how much some homosexuals demand otherwise.

I also accept the words that Jesus dictated to John in Revelation 22:14-15, that no person who practices sexual immorality can enter into the New Jerusalem, a metaphor for salvation. (This applies just as much to Freepers who are living together without the benefit of being married.)

An Unhealthy Lifestyle
By Leon Suprenant | March 15, 2008

In our series on the “pillars” of the argument for same-sex marriage, we have examined the claims that homosexuality is “genetic” and also a fixed, permanent condition. While these claims lack scientific support (and ultimately don’t establish the “rightness” of homosexual activity), activists have been largely successful in using these claims to establish the “gay community” as an oppressed minority who have the “right” to act in accordance with the way they were born.

This propaganda is then coupled with a two-pronged attack on organized religion, which stands in the way of their goals. One prong is to accuse people of faith, especially Catholics, as being hate-mongering, intolerant bigots. The other prong is to infiltrate churches and religious communities, preaching a gay-friendly Gospel.

The next pillar of the argument is to convince the public that this “alternative lifestyle” is “normal.” Using the American Psychiatic Association’s removal of homosexuality from its Diagnostic and Statistical Manual as well as any and all anecdotal accounts of well-being they can find, the advocates of same-sex marriage insist that those who are engaged in a homosexual lifestyle are just as healthy in every way as the rest of the population—and further, to the extent they experience any difficulty, it’s because of our homophobic, intolerant society.
For years, this has been a serious point of contention. Yet four major scientific studies earlier this decade have provided further convincing evidence that persons with same-sex attractions (SSA) are significantly more likely to suffer from a range of psychological disorders, including major depression, anxiety disorders, substance abuse, suicide attempts, sexual promiscuity with an inability to maintain committed relationships, as well as a host of medical problems, not to mention a shortened life expectancy.

Faced with such overwhelming evidence, proponents of same-sex marriage then assert that these problems are attributable to the painful process of coming to terms with one’s homosexuality in a “homophobic” world.

The fact is, if these problems were caused primarily by the lack of public acceptance of SSA, we would expect to find fewer problems in places where “tolerance” is high and so-called “homophobia” is low. But that simply isn’t the case. Studies done in the Netherlands and New Zealand, for example, where there is generally high tolerance of sexual “diversity,” reveal the same high rates of psychological difficulties as those done elsewhere.

The government is lying to our children. At least Michele Bachmann gets it.

There is a very real reason for that ... the more the democrats can degenerate society to fit their moral values—per se—the greater their constituency come time to vote. Look at what keeps sending Barney Frank and Nancy Pelosin back to the Congress. Look what elected Weiner. The politicians reflect the voters of their districts.

After the governor signed the bill introduced by Sen. Mark Leno, D-San Francisco, he released a statement that said, “History should be honest. This bill revises existing laws that prohibit discrimination in education and ensures that the important contributions of Americans from all backgrounds and walks of life are included in our history books. It represents an important step forward for our state, and I thank Sen. Leno for his hard work on this historic legislation.”

This is another attack on God and His Word in the Bible and our Judeo-Christian values and morals.

God states very clearly that choosing homosexual lifestyle is not only wrong but it is an abomination.

God is perfect.
Man is NOT perfect.

I choose to follow what He states.

Male and female genitalia are made for union. Male/male or female/female can only achieve union by means of deviant, unnatural, and risky behavior to both the physical and mental health of the perverts in addition to placing the general population at risk.

Brown and those of his ilk have seriously disordered minds to legislate that such people should highlight their perverted behavior as if such deviant behavior has something to do with their accomplishments. These people are sick; only an illegitimate government would betray the safety, physical, and mental health of its population.

People have every right to object to the enormously rich, bullying homosexual organizations, however, and I wish they would.

We need to see just how much money these organizations have like GLAAD and PFLAG and Human Rights Council and how big their legal departments are and how many lobbyists they pay and how much.

Because people have been frightened of objecting to anything ‘gays’ do, they forget that an organization is just as much up for criticism as any other.

I can’t wait to see who gets picked for “transsexual role model.”

It's a really tough choice. Why, even deciding on who to choose for the homosexual role model is going to be difficult enough that they will need to appoint a blue-ribbon panel to weigh the options.

For example, who is the "better" or more deserving historical role model - the first person who inserted a gerbil into another person's rectum, or the person whose rectum was the first to have had a gerbil inserted into it.

Why, you'd need the wisdom of a Solomon to make such a critical decision. Maybe, just to illustrate the value of "inclusiveness", they will have a separate chapter on each of them inserted into the students', um, history books.

Illegals are streaming over the borders and essentially claiming that state for Mexico, businesses are fleeing at alarming rates, the state’s budget is in near-meltdown, one city has already filed for bankruptcy, and Central Valley farms are being starved by the Feds for water in favor of a fish.

So to what does Gov. Moonbeam give priority? Glorification of homosexual “role models” and restriction of speech criticizing them.

No wonder most sane people are heading for the exits.

Mexico... are you SURE you want that dysfunctional mess?

This is tricky to answer at this time. Elected to the state senate in 2008, he gets to run again in 2012. The quirk however is redistricting, in that if he goes from an odd-numbered district to an even-numbered district, his relection campaign would be delayed two years (odd and even district elections alternate every two years)

So it could be 2016 or 2018 until he gets term-limted out of the state senate and he's already done a full six years maximum in the assembly (under current term limits).

Not entirely true. I’m in Hollywood and passed by Highland/Hollywood intersection and the nearby Christian church started their noisy lunch hour rally in the heart of the tourist trap..

They always do that. People yell at them, but they keep preaching..but with this faggot law from Moonbeam, they could be outlawed.
