A 68-year-old twice-convicted sex offender was sentenced to 40 years in prison on Thursday for using a computer to entice a child to engage in sexual activity, according to U.S. Attorney Wifredo A. Ferrer.
Trial evidence revealed that Allen Mark Levinson, of West Palm Beach, entered an Internet chat room named "dadanddaughtersex" and engaged in conversations with an undercover police officer posing as the father of an 8-year-old girl.
During online chats with the undercover 'father,' Levinson bragged about having molested his own daughter repeatedly throughout her childhood. Levinson previously had been convicted of the aggravated sexual abuse of a 7-year-old child, according to court records.
Levinson requested that the purported father put his 8-year-old daughter on a web camera. Levinson engaged in sexual activity and once he asked the father and child to do the same, he was immediately taken into custody, prosecutors said.
Levinson's computers were seized and found to contain child pornography, virtual child pornography, and hundreds of other chats in which Levinson told others of his desire to molest children, according to court records.

Who needs the devil when so many are willing to invest in the temptation business?
40 years isn’t enough!
Just put him in general population and let nature take it’s course. ;-)
Hey, in 4 or 5 years, school kids in California may be learning about how this guy is a role model for them.
It didn’t take much to entice this fool into horning in on the fake perverted “father” — still, if the board where he found this was not known for such risque’ and illegal business, I would have ethical qualms about putting a “father daughter sex” topic up there, and doubly so if this was against the terms of service. It would be like trolling on FR for perverts.
Dude, the name of the chat room was "dadanddaughtersex".
I don't think entrapment is much of an issue for anybody who hangs out there.
Again, if the only reason this room was tolerated by the ISP is because the police put it there and ordered the ISP to leave it alone, then the police violated a space that one would expect to be safe.
Seems to me that if you visit a chat room called “dadanddaughtersex” you’re just asking for some kind of official scrutiny. Kind of ironic that while the pedos are luring kids, the authorities are luring the pedos.
I don't think there should be any place that a pedophile sould find "safe" for his activities.
I mean safe from come-ons.
Don’t get your point.
You think a customer should expect a chat room with this name to be safe.
Safe for what?
Seems to me your claim is similar to saying that if the police put an expensive car out as bait and someone tries to steal it the cops have committed entrapment.
Anybody entering a chat room named “dadanddaughtersex” gets exactly what’s coming to him, IMO.
Now if the cops approach a random guy in a more general topic chat room and steer the conversation to such things, you might have a point.
Anyone stupid enough to go into a chat room with a name like that ought to be arrested just because.
I’m asking about the larger ISP setup, with its rules about rooms. I should not expect to see a vendor of Mad Dog 20/20 in a Salvation Army shelter, for instance.
I disagree, but hereby grant you permission to continue to believe as you do. :)
I do not need your stinkin’ “permission” to think anything under the sun. Even if it’s true.
