National Rifle Association's Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre addressed the United Nations this afternoon. He told the U.N. to not interfere with the Second Amendment freedoms of Americans and pledged to continue the fight to preserve civilian ownership of firearms in the U.S. He said the NRA will oppose any U.N. provision that seeks to prohibit or regulate U.S. civilian firearm ownership. LaPierre said in his remarks, "The cornerstone of our freedom is the Second Amendment. Neither the United Nations, nor any other foreign influence, has the authority to meddle with the freedoms guaranteed by our Bill of Rights, endowed by our Creator, and due to all humankind."

One more Obama supreme court appointment will change everything.
How come nobody wants to investigate Obama’s Connecticut social security number issued in March, 1977? He was a fifteen year old in Hawaii selling ice cream. How did he get a Connecticut number? Why is NO ONE interested in asking the folks at the White House this question?
Why can’t we see Obama’s passport and school records? His records as an Illinois state senator? Where’s his visitors’ agenda? What was his relationship with Tony Rezko? Rezko’s wife? How did his wife get a six figure job at a public hospital?
Is EVERYONE in the media deaf, dumb, and blind?
Far more than the second amendment is on the line.

IF the UN managed to openly strip Americans of their right to keep and bear arms, it would ignite the flames of America’s revolutionary spirit like nothing any of us has ever seen. The incumbent political party would be purged from Washington D.C. and their replacements would be so extreme that the tea party would get nervous around them. The resulting legislation from such a political body would not make the UN happy.

Sounds like Wayne LaPierre said the right thing, and I’ll support the NRA on this.
One of the major targets of the TEA Partiers, All concerned Americans should be the dissolution of the UN, and as rapidly as possible. Their nose, and forehead are already visible under the edge of the tent. They are moving rapidly now in States matters, and in local matters as well. Check out your local water budgeting processes.
First question is, or should be is who, or which President signed a treaty, and which Congress approved of giving the right to the UN to push into the States activities, or why are States activities paralleling UN 21st Century agenda scenario?
No links, just some local experience, and reading here at FR tells me there is activity going on off the radar that needs to be exposed. I envision a sneak assault on our sovereignty I fear happening while our attention is diverted on so many other matters.
I’ll wager a lot of those U.N. weenie delegates wanted to have him arrested.
