Police released horrific new details Friday on how they believe three-year-old Jaquinn Brewton died, and they say it was no accident.

Police now say the child was murdered through long-term physical abuse allegedly at the hands of his godmother, 22-year-old Nadera Batson and her 23-year-old boyfriend, Marcus King. They believe King, a 6' 8", 225-pound man, kicked and punched the little boy over a period of time.

Police believe the couple used a blowtorch to burn the little boy on various parts of his body.

*if* they’re put in with the general population. They’re usually segregated to protect them.

First of all, I hope the woman "godmother" involved in this gets as much time as the man. It seems like the females often escape as harsh of punishment because they always come up with "I was abused too" defense.

Secondly, six kids for the bio mom and probably multiple dads and no way to look after them. It would have been better to have given the little guy up for adoption, but that would have taken some thought process, courage, and concern for someone other than herself. Not to this level, but this abuse of kids by being born without dads to ever know goes on millions of times all over the country. Kids pay the price, this boy paid the ultimate price, and we pay the price both financially and as far as the societal impact.

“And yet, if they have some posed Christmas photos with the boy, the jury foreman will describe them as “loving parents” after their acquittal.”

You read my mind - I guess we’re all thinking about that when we see this unspeakable, heartbreaking story. Such horror done to a sweet, helpless, innocent child! My heart aches for him. Why does God allow such evil and pain to befall one of his little lambs?

And how in hell could anyone argue against the death penalty in such cases??? The way our society carries it out is far too sterile and humane for monsters such as these.

As a father of five, I am beyond words. I will pray for them, and the repose of the poor innocent. I will only say that things like this just crush me.

Oh yeah, almost forgot how the bigshot inmates can make their bones shanking child killers.

However, when brutal murders like this happen the first thing that pops in my mind is bringing back public execution.

Many states (I think it’s the state, not the city) have laws that allow a mother to drop a child off at either a hospital or police station, with no questions asked, if she cannot care for that child. They should ALL have such a law and run PSA’s to make it known.

Consider what would have happened if Casey Anthony were 45 instead of 25 and weighed 320 instead of 120. Do you think the media would have given the case much attention?

Nope.

Thank God this poor little boy is now safe in the arms of Jesus, where these monsters can no longer touch or torment him. Where there is no more pain, no more sorrow, no more suffering and where he will experience joy for all eternity:

"And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.”" (Revelation 21:3-4)

Auto accident, actually ... but for children who are killed or injured by another person, the mother’s boyfriend is the most common by several multiples.

I favor the death penalty but I don’t want the state to wield that kind of power (how this can be done is an idea worthy of a post in itself). However, in cases like this, the perps aren’t human beings and need to be put down by the nearest vet ASAP.

YEp, we live on the woman’s plantation. She only is PC enough to whip the folkes because she is the victim in need of protection.

People in America seem to like being on her plantation.

Had we had the death penalty these things might not be happening to the degree they are today...as well as many other crimes worthy of the death penalty.

Evil is what it is..murderers should not be allowed to live, allowing them to do so is an affront to justice...and worse to God who established it.

Additionally the mother should not be held guiltless either.
