Hmmm... Democrat, now does he support gun rights, and will he after this?

Probably some drug deal gone bad.

Great incurious reporting: Did someone catch the perp? Who was he? Why didn't the grandson just shoot him?

Boswell is 77, and a helicopter pilot who served in Vietnam. He heard the noise and came out and tried to disarm the intruder.
Kind of scary stuff; will probably hear more details today about what happened.

He is a Blue Dog...or he would not be elected in flyover country.

Hmmm... Democrat, now does he support gun rights, and will he after this? Though he voted no on reducing handgun waiting period from 3 days to 1, he gets an "A" rating from the NRA.

Interesting that in the first four paragraphs of the story, there's no mention of his Party affiliation.
I'm gathering from the other posts that he's a RAT.
I guess we wouldn't want the idea to get out that it's perfectly acceptable for RATS to defend their domiciles with firearms. Some might cry hypocrisy.

Strange how one person can demand money from another against his will and be labelled an intruder when another man can demand money from another against his will and be labelled a President.
Ah, well. Semantics. Whatta ya gonna do.

Many (most?) home invasions in the SF Bay Area are Vietnamese gangs. Fortunately for the rest of us, they mostly invade homes of other Vietnamese folks.

Hmmm... Democrat, now does he support gun rights, and will he after this? Of course he will. For himself.

I sure hope Charles Schumer has a talk with this guy. No doubt Schumer would tell him to let his daughter be raped...so that there wouldn’t be any violence.

>>>He is a Blue Dog...or he would not be elected in flyover country.
He’s no Blue Dog... he “kisses NRA butt” just enough to get endorsed by them, because it helps in his district. Otherwise, he’s Lib to the core - hard core. By the way, NRA endorses incumbents just because they are in office in many instances - Bos is one of those.

“Boswell’s grandson, Mitchell Brown, got a shotgun from another room. When he pointed the shotgun at the intruder, the man fled into the fields around the house outside Lamoni.”
His grandson was the hero.(The shotgun was probably planted by a teaparty member .) ;)
