No, it won't become extinct per say, But because of trends like this, they will be re-assminlated back into the Catholic, (some even into the Orthodox) church. The Church of England's liberalism has failed it, Once the Official Religion of the Largest Empire on Earth will become a rite in the Catholic Church they for so long opposed.

The official church will never rejoin the RCC. It will remain an apostate post-christian splinter sect, like the TEC in the US or the UCC. Many of the faithful will however, including numerous priests and bishops.

Yes, that is the true trend. Benedict XVI certainly didn't establish the Ordinariate for nothing.
