Skip to comments. So the media is OUTRAGED by media hacking of phones but not Hussein giving GUNS to Drug cartels?

Question for all you FREEPers today. Now I understand the outrage some may feel about some tabloid journalists finding passwords and getting into people's emails. Outrageous, almost as outrageous, say, as Chuck Schumer's organization leaking Michael Steele's credit report and social security number back in the Maryland U.S. Senate race.
But I digress.
The anti-Fox, Murdoch-hating media...you know, those Hussein-fellating masses of so-called journalists are VERY eager to talk about the stumblings of those in their business who are less than pure. (As if THEY are the beacons of objective news gathering!)
Yet, I've BARELY heard a word about Hussein's regime engaging in what has led to the DEATHS of American citizens--that "Fast and Furious" Gunwalker program....some of which, IIRC, was paid for with "stimulus" MONEY.
So the kiss-ass media must think figuring out passwords is much more sinful than killing American citizens.
If I am wrong here, tell me why.
The ends justify the means. It is OK to kill Americans to further the goals of totalitarian, leftist, Marxism. The left would use the same techniques as The News of the World if it served their purposes, but it is a wonderful weapon against Murdock.
I know what outrages FReepers.

As to your question.
Media outrage is a manufactured commodity. The fact that it was Rupert Murdoch's empire that got busted is the source of the outrage. Had the Guardian been busted, they would be justifying the situation and making the same excuses as they are making for the Gunrunner debacle.
The media, particularly here in the States, hate Murdoch because of Fox News. And that is because, although Fox is a liberal network, it is not a radical leftist network like ABCCBSNBCABCWAPONYTLAT. And they can't stand that. Anything that they can use to knock a hole in Fox/Murdoch is fair game to these commies.
For me, it’s like living near a fire station. Disrupting at first, but gradually the mind stops paying attention. It simply becomes noise.
Guns are bad Obama is good Murdoch is bad Media is good
Zero was just trying to provide cover for the lie that “90% of the guns in Mexico come from the U.S.” Of course it wasn’t true and still isn’t but they had to have SOME at least, hence this “operation”.
You’ll want to see what the Pooh-Bah’s of the “journalism” priesthood have to say about it all.
..it’s called selective rage. Libs will get excited and foam at the mouth when their told what to get what their roll is...
nothing is real and nothing has a consequence...lemmings lemmings all.
All media fingers point to Newscorp; four times as many fingers point back to the accusing outraged media.
The only thing "journalists" are capable of hacking is a person's reputations. Therefore, the focus of investigating any wrongdoing ought to be on the individuals at the email provider that was bribed to or otherwise enabled access to a secure email account.
Also, if a tabloid reporter can get an email account "hacked" -- that is, gain unauthorized access to it -- pretty much anyone can; and police are, and probably anybody else who wants to. Where's the outrage?
Besides the fact that this could be useful in the lefts bringing down FOX news in the US, it can also provide a media event to distract from Fast and Furious.

I'm not outraged. How stupid it would be to waste my time getting angry at another FReeper for a minor infraction.
Recovering Democrat, I agree with you that our attention is being focused elsewhere by The Mouthpiece Media. It's the look-at-the-shiny-thing-over-here technique that this administration is so good at. Their dirt-digging staffmembers find an old but still open issue and throw it out like chum in an ocean of media.
Gunwalker then gets thrown off "page one" and if Fox News continues to report on it it, their credibility is now in question rather than the issue itself. Another Communisty Organizer "Mission Accomplished" flag gets planted and they move on to their next Soros-funded task.
This question ought be required of every member of congress— and most especially of every agent claiming to represent through some school of journalism that old toothless and blind watchdog of our liberties (the Media)
They gotta get FOX under control.
My vanity was properly noted. I even picked the “your opinion” box on the category choices. How did that break a rule?
You've never read people getting dogged out for posting "shameless vanities"?
Just a joke.
Okay, I get it now. Sorry for being so thin skinned..;)
