If I want to keep all my money because I want to leave it to my kids (so they’ll never be wards of the state) is that greedy? If I want to keep it because I want to build a dormitory at my alma mater is that greedy? How about if I want to finance an archeological dig? How about if I want to donate it to my church? Or bet it on the Kentucky Derby? How is that the government’s business?
