Confirmed: Non-Africans found to be part-Neanderthal

Next time you're about to slam somebody for carrying on like a Neanderthal, think twice: You might be hitting close to home.

A new study published in the Molecular Biology and Evolution reports that people of non-African heritage carry a chromosome which originates from Neanderthals, offering evidence that the two populations interbred at a certain point in history.

I can believe this. Many years ago while commuting to work I noticed men whose facial structure reminded me of primitive men. Some even had bunches of ugly black hair emanating from their white shirt sleeves.

These observations told me even then that Neanderthal man walked among us.

Blue eyes and reddish hair. People often called me "red" before my blonde highlights.

Pale skin, and Irish/German ancestry. I am NEANDERTHAL. :)

One such trait is the shape of the opening of the nerve canal in the lower jaw, a spot where dentists often give a pain-blocking injection. In many Neandertal, the upper portion of the opening is covered by a broad bony ridge, a curious feature also carried by a significant number of Cro-Magnons. But none of the alleged 'ancestors of us all' fossils from Africa have it, and it is extremely rare in modern people outside Europe."
