CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — In spite of his thundering speeches against big government, Texas Gov. Rick Perry has a troubled relationship with the tea party, a rift increasingly obvious as he gets closer to a presidential bid.

Tea party groups from New Hampshire to Texas are collaborating to criticize Perry's record on immigration, public health and spending and his former affiliation with the Democratic Party.

Obama has potential relationship with tea party

As much as I admire Ron Paul's stand on many issues, he will never be president.

I think everyone knows that by now.

That being said, I'll accept any information, from just about any source on our side, if it uncovers lies/untrue PR about any of our candidates leading up to the Primaries.

Now is the time to vet the candidates and Perry needs a lot of vetting because we have several people on the site, probably Perry Staffers, that are relentless in presenting one side of the Perry story and trying to bury the negative side of Perry.

I'll take everything I can get.

Perry takes a lot of good positions. He would certainly be eons ahead of, and better for the country than Obama.

But I am concerned about the things I mentioned in my earlier post just the same.

I hope, in 2012, we get an all American who gets it right across the board, from abortion to second amendment to the economy to immigration, energy, foreign policy etc.

I believe we are going to have another strong sea change election like 2010 and it would be good to have an executive in there to take full advantage of it and really ebgin to set things back aright.

I hear that Paul spent $31,000 on a lot for use as his space in the Ames Iowa event. Next nearest was at $18,000.

We also have plenty of people, both posting on their own and probably at the behest of competing campaigns, who will post competing info without a Paultard who is obviously pushing his nutbar joining in.

I don't know who the winner will be, but I know it will not be RuPaul.

It’s going to come down to those who want Obama actually out of office, and those who may elect to do a Thelma and Lousise over the proverbial cliff supporting a candidate who will not run and can not win a general election if he/she did declare.

Read where Christie is headed to Iowa to fundraise for Steve King. Curious, maybe? Iowa? Now? Interesting.
A sure winner is Christie/Perry, but Christie is not a conservative but for fiscal policy. However, the people are desperate and that is the number one issue behind the ballot lever.

Let's hope that RuPaul simply walks away from the Primary process as well.

It would be nice to have the confused Libertarians be forced to make a choice for a viable candidate, instead of the perennial "fat chance" candidate like Ron Paul.

That ticket doesn't have a chance in Hell of winning the General election.
