Good luck in Wisconsin, spread the word.
Dave Hansen is facing a Republican with a $2,000 budget - a Republican with domestic abuse arrests among other personal issues. Vanderleest (the Republican) is making his signs by hand with stencils, spraypaint and scrap wood.
The Dem is going to win in a landslide, and he should. The Republican is a joke.
Too bad in District 30, wasn’t there a write-in or can they not do that today. Any word on District 12 & 22.
Anybody able to start a live thread when the polls close?
Folks, this race was over early. The GOP candidate (Vanderleest) got his ass handed to him:
If the voters in Wisconsin put Democrats back in and all the Republicans lose, then the voters of the state deserve what they get. State goes broke, then a lot of people lose their jobs. Democrats never saw a tax they did not like. Look at all the states that are in big trouble. The vast majority are in Democratic control and have been for years. Give me a Republican controlled state any day of the week such as TX and Fl.

* GOP blew this one...Nygren had a much better shot
First of all even should the Rep lose 3 seats in the recall, which I find highly unlikely. they would still have nowhere near a veto proof majority which they need to get past Walker’s veto of their legislation to reverse Republican changes.
They would have to wait until next year to even attempt to recall Walker which even the lib admit would be virtually impossible. And during this time as Wisc. Citizens see deficits turn to surpluses the whole thing will die away.
Finally, with all the focus on to much debt, people all over are not interested on going back to big deficits or raising taxes, both of which would be necessary if the Left had their way.
No, not many stories nationally but this is a local issue and remember the turnaround hhas just begun. Walker has only been in office 7 months and with the court challenges these changes of his have only recently been enacted.
