It's far from a victory since they know it will be rejected.
Give the Senate until Aug 1 to reject it or ignore it then pass the exact same bill minus the BBA and tell the Rats, RINOs and Obama to “take it or leave it, end of offers”.

She had been adamant about not raising the debt ceiling, offering a yes vote only in exchange for a full repeal of ObamaCare.

It's too bad that the other side can be confident in the fact that the Republicans, as a group, will never be principled and resolute enough to stick to an absolute line in the sand. Bachman is one of the few individual exceptions.

Broun is a non-entity, but Bachman wanted to be somebody. I think this vote proves she is a cipher.

That would be them negotiating with themselves. Not a good policy.

Let this Line in the Sand stand. The dems, the WON and the rinos can take it or leave it.

I don’t like the plan as is, without the BBA its really bad.

I like Bachmann’s plan - don’t raise the debt ceiling - it was put there for a reason. The house just needs to pass a bill that appropriately prioritizes the spending after Aug. 2. We want military and veterans paid first and medicaid abortions and Acorn paid last (i.e. not at all).

I wish that was possible but I want to see Obama eat his peas and the only way we can do that is to get Obama to sign something he has refused to do previously.

I like that too but unfortunately at this point Obama is winning the PR battle. If he wins the PR battle he wins reelection and possibly the House.

Mean, dirty trick by Coburn to undermine the House today; and he deliberately undermined the ability to garner RAT votes in the Senate for CCB.

I am livid. Coburn could have waited until tomorrow.

Of course Obama is winning the PR battle; the megaphone of the White House is extraordinary. That said, the GOP has compounded the problem by negotiating against itself on three fronts.

Coburn says today’s vote in the House puts on the way to his 9 Trillion plan, and wants a fix to begin on Aug. 2. His 9 Trillion plan gives a lot from our side, he says, and adds that he is self-term limited, and will not run again.

The House CCB goes now to the Senate, Jason Chaffetz (R).

There are a few cans I’d like to see kicked down the road although I’d settle for them being ridden out on a rail.

Coburn is a BS artist like most others in that cesspool . A moment ago on Greta he said his 9 trill figure is not attainable. These pigs want to clear this up so they can meet Princess O on the Vineyard.

"Senate haven’t bothered to pass any budget resolution in over 800 days, and the White House still refuses to offer any specific ideas."

FReepers can pass this one around.

Cut, Cap & Balance has passed only where we have the majority. We can hope that this now puts the democrat majority in the senate into a pressure cooker. Heck, the mood American voters are in, who knows, maybe it passes the senate too. Chaffetz says it’s possible because it is going to be awkward for the democrats to blow off a balanced budget which is required in every state.

How do democrats buck a balanced budget. LOL. Let Obama veto it and he is toast through the campaign.

Coburn and Obama bedfellows since 2009.

So the House passes what the Tea Party asked for and here’s tobyhill crapping on what everyone wanted:

tobyhill post #3 - “It’s far from a victory since they know it will be rejected.”

tobyhill post #11 - “I like that too but unfortunately at this point Obama is winning the PR battle.”

No encouragement. No cheer. All we get from you is that we’re doomed; it’s not victory; and obuma is winning.

What side are cheering for, tobyhill? You stink like an obuma troll to me.
