>>> Is there detailed information on race, sex, and immigration and parole status of these new inductees?
No, but 100% of them swore to this:
“I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.”
that’s good - and there was a day when that oath meant something. I hope it still does. That doesn’t get to my question, however. If the Army is recruiting a bunch of 100 pound 19 year old women rather than 180 pound men, for example, that’s a problem. If the Army is experiencing “white male flight”, that also is a problem. If you are a member of a gang who would be going to prison, but agreed to join the Army instead, that’s a problem.
