. Homosexual Bigots Attack the Wildflower Inn
Right Side News ^ | 7/22/2011 | Bryan Fisher

“A hate crime is usually defined by state law as one that involves threats, harassment, or physical harm and is motivated by prejudice against someone's race, color, religion, national origin, ethnicity, sexual orientation or physical or mental disability.” - USLegal.com

“Harassment...is generally defined as a course of conduct which annoys, threatens, intimidates, alarms, or puts a person in fear of their safety. Harassment is unwanted, unwelcomed and uninvited behavior that demeans, threatens or offends the victim and results in a hostile environment for the victim.”

Homosexual bigots continue the “Night of the Long Knives” purge against anyone and everyone who believes in natural marriage.

The latest targets for their hatred and bigotry are the owners of the Wildflower Inn in Vermont. The inn’s owners, Jim and Mary O’Reilly, are facing a potentially crippling lawsuit for one reason and one reason only: they have a religious conviction that marriage is the union of one man and one woman.

They respectfully declined to rent out their facility used for a lesbian wedding reception. Said the O’Reillys, “Many of our guests have been same-sex couples. We welcome and treat all people with respect and dignity. We do not however, feel that we can offer our personal services wholeheartedly to celebrate the marriage between same-sex couples because it goes against everything that we as Catholics believe in.”

So the harassment of the O’Reillys is clearly “motivated by prejudice against (their)...religion.”

According to the template of the left, they have become the victims of a hate crime.

For daring to actually act on their moral convictions, they are being targeted by the ACLU, which is determined to criminalize Christianity in the United States.

The O’Reillys now face some kind of criminal or civil sanction for acting on their deeply held religious convictions. If they are fined, then their property is being plundered as a punishment for their religious views. If they are ordered to violate their own consciences in their wedding reception policies, then their God-given and “unalienable” right to liberty has been shredded.

And the fact that homosexual bigots are using the power of government to carry out their hate-driven harassment of the O’Reillys only makes it worse. Harassment is harassment no matter who’s doing it, and getting government thugs to do it for you under color of law is simply reprehensible.

Homosexual hatemongers have now created a “hostile environment” in which the O’Reillys are forced to work. They are being subjected to “conduct” which “annoys, threatens, intimidates (and) alarms” them, and have been subjected to behavior which is “unwanted, unwelcomed, and uninvited.” Hello, hate crime.

In a sane world in which the First Amendment was still the supreme law of the land, the O’Reillys’ freedom of religious expression and assembly would still be protected. Alas, the homosexual lobby is rapidly turning us into China and the former Soviet Union.

Christians are now being treated officially as second-class citizens with far fewer human and civil rights than those who engage in aberrant sexual behavior.

The words spoken by one of the lesbian bigots in this story would actually be far more appropriate on the lips of the O’Reillys. “We were saddened and shocked. It was frustrating to be treated like lesser than the rest of society.”

The homosexual agenda and religious liberty cannot co-exist. America will have to choose between the two, because we cannot have both. Every advance of the homosexual agenda comes at the expense of religious liberty. Every time - every single time - the homosexual agenda advances, religious liberty is forced into retreat.

The day has already arrived when it has become a criminal offense for a Christian to act on his convictions. The day is coming when it will be a criminal offense to have Christian convictions at all.

Homosexuals need their own country where they can literally screw their brains out in any fashion they choose.

Check with France and see if Devil's Island is available.

This is an OBVIOUS violation of hate-crime laws!

But, hey, videos of the Black Panthers violating election intimidation laws were OBVIOUS and we saw what happened with those charges!

Sorry, but I am not holding my breath!!!

Decades ago, I worked at a place that was considering giving up family discounts because of demands for an extended definition of “family”.

This situation is, frankly, totally outrageous; yet it grows out of the Utilitarian/Collectivist mindset, which pushed the so-called "Civil Rights" laws in the first place. The idea that people cannot discriminate--i.e. make personal choices as to with whom they choose to do business, on their own property--effectively appropriates one of the principal attributes of private property. It certainly does not reflect the philosophic tenets that the Founding Fathers held sacred.

Indeed, the philosophic principal is the same, whether you require someone to accommodate a homosexual couple, or forbid them to accommodate a homosexual couple. But the ACLU & other Fabian Socialist apparatuses see it wholly as a one way street, against the preferences of the religious property owner.

This reflects the Leftist totalitarian bias of the ACLU, but is not tenable to any fair minded & rational person.

These are abominations to God who clearly tells us that homosexuality is an abomination to God. God gives us instintive understanding of right and wrong so when we deliberately sin against God we will be judged and punished accordingly. Of course, the homosexual bigots are in gangs because they don’t have the “b@lls” to do it alone. Believe it or not is not important - they will have the wrath of God one day. Christians who preach anything else by that homosexuality is an abomination are going to held accountable. God expects us to love one another, including homosecuals, but hate what they do. It goes against the natural order God has established.

My local YMCA has had to deal with "families" insisting on receiving family memberships. So far, they have held the line, but not without some whinging from the press about how bigoted the YMCA is.

To be clear, the Y is not even saying they can't be members. Just not family members.

If you want a laugh (or a cry), just look at how the leftist media presents this story. I did a search and found this on ABC News. There is literally NO MENTION of the O’Reilly’s reason for denying the reception, and of course no mention of their 1st amendment rights. It just tries to portray them as ignorant and hateful. Ridiculous.

For a reason.....America's aggressively radical homosexuals like her aggressively radical secularists who want exclusion of religion and religious considerations....both want the break down of cultural standards of morality. The gradual disintegration of societal well being bring the decay of morality cum religion and then the laws of nature are disavowed by the radical few to the downfall of the rest of us. Those who can will leave the affected cities, looking for unaffected areas leaving behind the debased.........

I have no problem with homosexuals; they are people. I do, however have a great deal of problems with the homosexual AGENDA; big difference.

ABC is censoring the comments. I left some a few days ago-nothing offensive, just used the word “homosexual” instead of “gay”. They pulled the comments FAST.

I also said that this should be a lesson to Inn and B&B owners - if they hold their noses and book just one or two homosexual “weddings”, but things seem to go wrong with the service - cold food and warm cocktails - the word will get through the homo community fast that your service is lousy, and they stop booking there right quick.

Some additional suggestions:

It is so easy to drop a few dead mice here and there...........very loud music coming from some unknown location happens during the ceremony or toasting. Toilets plugged up. Smoke detectors keep going off. Manager acts drunk and goofy. Servers wear weird neon colors - the “new” uniforms for the Inn. Or very wrinkled shirts. There are hundreds of things that can be done. And that will insure that the word gets through the homo marriage set to steer clear of that place. And every “mistake” or dead mouse, cannot be proven to be planned. As long as there are no emails, no meetings, and the arrangements are handled carefully by one person - problem solved.

I think the number of businesses who would turn away homosexuals is very small anyway, but for those who have strong convictions against holding nuptial parties for them, they just need to be creative.

It would be better to refund a portion of the bill to “apologize” that some unexpected inconveniences occurred, but if the next homosexual wedding had just as many little snafus...well I’d bet that would be about the last one that booked that particular property.

It’s old school.
