Posted on 07/22/2011 9:50:54 AM PDT by SeekAndFind
Mitt Romney remains the frontrunner in two new polls, but Rick Perry is a close second in both polls.
Results from the Fox News poll of GOP primary voters:
Romney (17 percent), Perry (14 percent), Michele Bachmann (10 percent), Rudy Giuliani (9 percent), Sarah Palin (9 percent), Ron Paul (9 percent), Herman Cain (5 percent), Newt Gingrich (4 percent), Tim Pawlenty (2 percent), and Rick Santorum (2 percent).
Romney has lost six percentage points since an early June Fox poll, while Bachmann has gained six points. Perry did not appear on the early June poll.
If options are limited to declared candidates (which excludes Perry and Palin), the top three are Romney (26 percent), Bachmann (15 percent), and Paul (10 percent).
Results from the CNN/ORC International poll of Republicans and Republican leaning independents:
Romney (16 percent), Perry (14 percent), Palin (13 percent), Giuliani (13 percent), Bachmann (12 percent), Paul (8 percent), Cain (6 percent), Gingrich (4 percent), Pawlenty (3 percent), Santorum (2 percent), and Jon Huntsman (1 percent).
There is lots more data on Post 39.
Take your pick.
The exceedingly toxic Favorability rating of less than 40% among ALASKANS in her own home state is from this month.
July 7, 2011 ..... Gov. Sarah Palin has an approval rating of less than 40 percent among Alaskans. ... The Moore poll gives Palin a 39 percent positive rating and 49 percent negative rating among Alaskans. Twelve percent said they were neutral.
If you have ANY poll from ANY date from ANY source that does not show Sarah Palin's numbers as absolutely toxic among ALL voters (not just the Republicans that make up only 29% of the electorate) then post them.
You want anothe recent poll?
The most recent Fox News Poll just came out. Here you go. Sarah Palin's downward plunge continues:
Among REPUBLICAN primary voters, the preferences are as follows:
Mitt Romney ..... 18%
Rick Perry ..... 13%
Michele Bachmann ..... 11%
Rudy Giuliani ..... 10%
Sarah Palin ..... 8%
Ron Paul ..... 7%
Herman Cain ..... 5%
Tim Pawlenty ..... 3%
Sarah Palin is in single digit territory. .... One percentage point above Ron Paul.
Even Rudy Giuliani scores higher than Sarah Palin does and he is not even hinting at running.
With just the buzz of possibly running, the Rick Perry balloon is climbing, day by day, about to eclipse Romney, without even having declared.
With exposure out the wazoo since the Fall of 2008 including speeches and rallies and books and Reality TV shows, Sarah Palin's Favoralability keeps sinking deeper and deeper and deeper into the abyss.
What if Palin doesn’t run and supports Perry?
Christine O’Donnell did extremely well. There were a lot of Republican candidates who did much worse.
Christine O’Donnell is a good example of being trashed by the media.
Getting the Christine treatment by the media, but there was no “Christine O’Donnell Bloodbath”
Christine lost by 16.58%
Let’s look at other races.
In Hawaii, the Republican lost by 53%
In Vermont, the Republican lost by 33%
In New York, one Republican lost by 32%
In New York, the other Republican lost by 26%
In Maryland, the Republican lost by 25%
In Oregon, the Republican lost by 18%
All bigger bloodbaths.
If Christine was in those races, she woulda done better than the candidates that did run, and she woulda taken media hits that woulda gone somewhere else.
