During his town hall meeting in Maryland today on the debt crisis, President Obama found time to answer critics who think his position (and positions) have a socialist flavor. And he joked about it.
“This isn’t just some wild-eyed socialist position, it’s the position being taken by people of both parties and no party,“ he said with with a smirk as the audience chuckled and after talking about ”shared sacrifice:”
Obama seems well aware of his critics. For example, on radio today Glenn Beck labeled the president a “Marxist.”
Less than two weeks away from a debt ceiling deadline, President Barack Obama sought Friday to pressure House Republicans to come around to a deal that he insisted must include new taxes — which he calls “revenues” — as well as spending cuts.
At the same time, even with no clear end in sight to negotiations that have dragged on for weeks, the president asserted that the U.S. has never defaulted on its debt and won’t do so now.

An actual, diagnostic characteristic of Malignant Narcissistic sociopaths is joking at inappropriate times about inappropriate subjects. To Barry, the golf course is serious, and the economy is funny. As long as he gets his tax-payer funded super-jet, hundred-dollar-a-pound taxpayer funded Wagu and million-dollar taxpayer funded parties, the economy is a lark.
