Agreed...lousy story..more questions than answers...Does victim have a permit? Hope he does..even so...it can give you a sense of false security. His pattern of movement..takign the cash to the night deposit after closing was probably well known...

In cases like this..high exposure target in a high profile (strip club setting) local police, if asked will often send a car by at a specified time, to follow the guy tot he bank..It takes 5 minutes max...

A store owner once told me that taking the money to a night deposit site was simply a good way to embezzle money.

When I worked at a nightclub in Manhattan in the early 70’s the one-nine used to send a patrol car by to escort the owner around the corner to the bank for a night drop at about 4:30 AM.
