Tim Pawlenty chief says Michele Bachmann won't last over long haul
Pollutico ^ | Sunday July 23, 2011 | Jonathan Martin

Tim Pawlenty manager Nick Ayers sent a blast email today to supporters making the case why Iowans will rally to the former Minnesota governor and Michele Bachmann will fade.

After reiterating Pawlenty's accomplishments in St. Paul, Ayers wrote: "This doesn't make great fodder for cable news but as more Republican primary voters start to tune in to the race, they are finding out that the Governor’s record and message will stand the test a brutal campaign. Other candidates’ records (or lack thereof), and plans for the future (or lack thereof) won't."

The manager also claimed they "had a record week of straw poll sign-ups."

[....]

...He successfully made the case, that in 2008, voters elected a member of Congress with no executive experience. We can’t afford the cost of inexperience any longer, and Iowans get are getting that. He also made the case that we have a leading candidate for President who is running from his record and another who doesn't have a record. Governor Pawlenty is proud of his record. Iowans got that, too.

“Tim Pawlenty manager Nick Ayers sent a blast email today to supporters making the case why Iowans will rally to the former Minnesota governor and Michele Bachmann will fade. “

Attacking the messenger of why RINOs like TPaw are doomed to fail isn’t going to make him look any more attractive than he already ISN’T.

I don’t know much about Pawlenty, and Bachmann hasn’t done much for me, but I will say this.

When someone’s first impulse is to tell you what is wrong with an opposing candidate, instead of telling you first what is good about them, your radar should go up.

It is like going shopping for a car. When all a dealer can do is tear down their competition, instead of telling you what their car can do better for you...it isn’t a good sign.

Anyone have any question who leaked the Migrain story to the Daily Caller? Pawlenty is turning into a real sleaze ball sort of guy. Maybe if he showed signs of a pulse and wasn't a coward, i.e.; backing away from the "Obamnycare" attack. Pawlenty is a dull hack.

What Tpaw, Obmama and most of the others don’t seem
to understand is that the American voter is kind of
tired of “executive experience” screwing them in the
butt and that most would just as soon have a bagboy
from Pigglywiggly be President as long as he told
the truth, dealt with them in a straight forward
manner, and had at least an ounce of common sense.

Interesting the article does NOT say Bachmann directly.

Sounds like another Martin-Romney-Soros-Pollutico dirty trick.

“And The Most Irresponsible Journalist Award Goes to The Politico’s Jonathan Martin!
So tell me, how do you write a “news” story about an organization paying for a speaker when you don’t even know if the organization is paying for the speaker?
Ask “journalist” Jonathan Martin. He knows all about it.
You see, Jonny wrote a piss poor story the other day about how the Iowa Family Policy Center will be paying a large speaker fee if Sarah Palin comes to Iowa to keynote the IFPC’s fall funderaiser.
The only problem is that Jonny has no sources confirming that any exorbitant fee is being charged or paid.
Jonny also got some inside info from David Kochel, who was a top aide to former (and future) presidential candidate, Mitt Romney.
Hey Dave, didn’t I just read a story about how Mitt Romney tried to buy off the Iowa Christian Alliance?
I heard you helped facilitate that little scheme. And somehow you are shocked at the thought of a well-known political figure (who very likely isn’t running for president) getting paid a speaker’s fee for (gasp) a public speaking appearance? ..
and then we’ve got Tim Albrecht quoted. He was the Iowa spokesman for Romney’s 2008 caucus campaign.”
And it always seemed like, whenever the Romney people had rumors they wanted to start about other candidates,
Jonny was their go-to guy to get those rumors in writing in front of a national audience.

"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign?
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the “Diva” leak was Nicolle Wallace’s husband."

Who benefits most from Sanford meltdown? Californian (that's right) Mitt Romney

"Peeking Out From the McCain Wreckage: Mitt Romney"

"Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?"

"Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?"

"Romney Supporters Trashing Palin"

"Romney advisors sniping at Palin?"

PawPaw is already done. His campaign ended the night of the GOP, where he looked like a coward. He and Gingrich should write a book, and do video showings with Calista.
