Because homosexuality is extreme narcissism.
That's because they are one and the same:

Because they know it's wrong, so they want to prove the opposite to themselves. Social acceptance is the best proof of a social order.
Of course one can't prove a false statement, so no matter how much acceptance they get from other perverts, they still want more - because they need more. However even if an army of idiots chants "2 x 2 = 5" it doesn't overcome a single statement of a single mathematician that 2 x 2 = 4.
The modern history of the USA perfectly follows the history of Roman Empire. At least the society is thoroughly rotten. If we want to know the future of this country we only need to read on past of Rome.
