Embattled Rep. David Wu will not seek reelection in 2012, but he won’t resign from office now despite allegations that the Oregon Democrat had an “unwanted sexual encounter” with the teenage daughter of a close friend last Thanksgiving.
“He isn’t going to be running for reelection,” a Wu adviser, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told POLITICO late Sunday night. “But he hasn’t done anything that rises to the level of requiring him to resign.”
Wu’s decision to stay in office comes after a frenzied weekend of lobbying and pressure tactics designed to convince the Oregon Democrat to leave office, all of which seemed to have failed for now. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is likely to step up the pressure on Wu following this latest development.
Pelosi and other top Democrats are reviewing their options on Wu, which include outright calls for him to resign or to seek an Ethics Committee investigation into the explosive allegations against him.

Response: Of course not he is a politician leading a degenerate electorate. By definition no politician has any shame.
Our immoral ruling class is so above it all, aren’t they? The good people need to revolt at the revolting elite politocal class that is destroying us. I say we target some high profile leftist pseudo neutral media types-say, Matt Lauer, Christiana Ayamsopour! Hound them to death until the networks get it that we are done with it.

Wu is a typical Democrat pig, nothing more and nothing less.
If the other Democrats allow him to finish out his term they’ll be telling the country that they condone his behavior. That makes them just as bad as he is.
After seeing him in that tiger outfit - it doesn’t appear he’s fit to make a rational decision.
It doesn’t rise to the level of rape that bothers feminists. His abortion vote is secure.

It sure sounds like the Democratic leadership is MUCH MORE concerned with Mr. Wu, than with the thought of the country DEFAULTING on its debt.

Why should he resign? Isn’t that what Democrat daughters are for? I’m thinking along the lines of all of the Lewinsky’s trashed and dead along the way since Chapaqwidik.
