Same crap. If a Jew (or a black) read this thread, think he give a second look to the candidates advocated on the site?

Why are so many generalizing, slippery, neo-Nazi rants against Jews posted here, when Jewish people comprise such a small percentage of our population? Most Catholics voted for Obama, and Catholics comprise 25% of the population. Most politicians are Catholic, and most Catholic politicians are Democrats. We don’t see thousands of posts on this site generalizing against U.S. Catholics, as posts like yours do against Jewish people.

Whatever “goyim” “goy” and shiksa might have meant a long time ago, how tbe words are used now is/are a pejorative. As in “stupid shiksa”, “goyishe kopf” dumb goy etc.
Heard it my whole life.

You say part of your family is Jewish? What does this mean? My experience as a full Jew ---- I have heard those words used pejoratively maybe 10 times in my life. "Goy" ---  I have rarely heard a Jew use that one at all. It's kind of dated. Shiksa I have heard more often as a neutral or complimentary statement. Such as he "He's going out with a lovely blond Shiksa". This said in a joking ironic way. "Goyim" I have heard as a simple statement of them being non-Jewish. Not said derisively

The usage you are angry about is dated back to when Al Capone was still alive

Unless, of course, a Jew reads the Tanakh, a Christian the "Old Testament", in which case they're seeing the term constantly, referring both to non-Jews and Jews.

Freepers are very pissed with Bammy in the White House so they take it out on Jews. Jewish votes may not amount to much but they figure wealthy Jewish donors and high profile Hollywood Jews are very helpful to Obama and the Democrats. They see Bammy’s inner circle as having some Jewish Svengalis such as Axelrod. They are sick of the ACLU which attacks Christmas and school prayer. The ACLU seems to be 80% Jewish lawyers

Because posters believe this is the innate character of Jews, all Jews, but only the occasional thread provides the opportunity to vent within the rules.

And, for the record, for 1,800 years it was "Christians" who persecuted, raped, pillaged, and murdered Jews, while Jews living in Muslim lands were largely left alone.

I've seen this narrative about a thousand times, but something about it just doesn't pass the smell test.

If Christians were such horrible, vile persecutors, why did the Jews stay living among them?

And why after numerous expulsion orders over history were lifted later, why did the Jews immediately move back into those countries?

Why would someone follow their persecutor around everywhere?

You know that's not it. How many threads did you see slamming Jews, the most anti Iraq war demographic, on FR, a pro Iraq war site, as warmongering neocons. It's not Obama, it's not the Iraq war, it's Jews that riles some people up.

ever hear of Israel?? Yet many Christians in Europe are against this nation. So where do you suggest Jews live? In Mongolia? Fact is Jews have gone though the good and the bad living in Christian nations

Alan Bergstein is a neo-Nazi?

What he's doing is asking a question. If the shoe doesn't fit, don't wear it.

The "secular Jews" are a big paradox, and the baby-killing "Cafeteria Catholics" deserve just as much criticism.

We don’t see thousands of posts on this site generalizing against U.S. Catholics

Oh it happens, but I don't believe in criticizing any group for their faith...but if they politically participate in the active destruction of this nation...they're fair game.

So what's your view of baby-killing Obama supporters of any stripe?

Hey, I thought you were an alien like me all these years. Heh. There won’t be any ex over my grave, either (or any mark). And I’m not an Atheist or Muslim. ...too far out in the middle of nowhere to convert, so I’ll be available on Saturdays for now.

IMO, jealousy against Jewish people is similar to jealousy against rich people: wrong and unnecessary. On to the world to come, I hope.

We were discussing the "1800 years" that another Jewish poster brought up. Not the last 60.

Fact is Jews have gone though the good and the bad living in Christian nations

That doesn't really address the bulk of my question, but it is certainly a more fair statement of historical Christian/Jewish relations than I normally see.

What I see usually is a double standard where one side is free to issue a blanket condemnation on one side's ancestors and the other side has to agree with the statement and not make any rebuttal or face an accusation of anti-Semitism.

I'll give you an example. Which of these two lines could get freely published in the NY Times tomorrow with out arousing any backlash:

1. "Historical persecution by Christians of Jews,"

2. "Historical anti-Christian and anti-gentile attitudes of Jews"

Now they both happened and existed, but one is certainly a more broachable subject in conversation today than the other. Just look at threads right here on this forum.

I don't like sacred cows, I don't like double standards, and I don't like blanket condemnations of my ancestors any more than you do.

Well, that’s a nice collection of anti-Semitic sentiment which you appear to expect me to defend, and I won’t.

Condi Rice hardly epitomizes the typical American Conservative, and many of those church references are not even American. Maybe I should have, but I never heard of the “Disciples of Christ to Israel”

The truth is that Israel has no better allies than American Christian Conservatives.

If you care to review my posting history you will find me commenting that the “Palestinians” should all be repatriated in their homelands, which are mostly Jordan and Egypt. And that Israel should not capitulate to their enemies, never mind giving up territory.

Now since you neglected to answer my question:

What’s your view of baby-killing Obama supporters of any stripe?

PS By the way, the Nazis were socialist control freaks (just like the RATs currently enjoying your support) NOT freedom loving, small government American Conservatives.

Nearly all politicos are supporters of abortion (including the pagan feminists who rant against it while blaming it all on men in general). And most politicos are liars; most of them are socialists dependent on various levels of socialist government in various ways. They're bringing our nation to default. With a chance for better leadership on the other side of default, we're helping them with their prideful stupidity by refusing unnecessary personal spending and becoming more self-sufficient.

There are no conservatives in partisan politics.
