I totally agree that the Internet and talk radio have been vital in getting more folks up to speed as to what has been happening since the 1900s in this country. Sure, there were/are books available, but not too many folks ever heard about them. In addition to the media, unions, and Democrat party being taken over, I believe that public education (which has been corrupt and ill-intentioned from its onset in this country) has also played a huge role in getting us to the point we are at now.

One of the main problems that we have now (aside from the unsustainable economic crisis) is that there a just simply too many people in the country that remain clueless and ignorant. If I was to venture a guess as to the number of people that are as well informed and aware as the “average FReeper,” I would say maybe 2-3% of the adult population? (And that may be a bit on the high side.)

And what makes matters worse, is that the “LIE” has become so big at this point, that it is simply much too much for folks to handle (i.e., accept the truth). I recently learned about something called a “Normalcy Bias,” it runs very deep and strong in our society. The vast majority of people simply can not accept Truth that makes them too uncomfortable. The simple fact is that the Truth about what has gone on in this country since the 1900s is just too disturbing for the most folks to accept.

I would have to say that these two reasons (unsustainable economic crisis conditions from Debt and increasing deficit spending, and a very un-informed and clueless populace) are why I simply can not find much to be optimistic about of late. All we can do is Stay Ever Alert as you said, and just keep Preparing to the best of our abilities.

I agree. Once again and as usual....the GOP “”leadership”” snatches defeat from the jaws of victory. And I’m damned sick of it.

You see the Normalcy Bias come into play when the media run similar stories for a few days and then take a poll. The poll is usually biased and targeted to get the results they want and, surprise! surprise!, the poll echoes back the news stories. Then for a few days they run stories on the poll results. The outcome is to convince people that “X” is what most people believe, in other words “The Norm” so people accept it on do not deviate from it.

They have psychological warfare down to a science.

We have failed to hold our government accountable with the power of our vote. We, the people of america, have voted like morons for a damn long time. We, a free people, willingly elected a communist to rule us (no, I didn’t vote for him, and I know you didn’t either, but we have failed nonetheless as we are all in the same boat.)

Only in the sense that the victim of a con game is responsible. We were lied to by the people we thought we could trust and the change came slowly and the wolf was disguised as a sheep. We are the victims of a large but effective scam.

Those we trusted to inform us, the media, were in on it. Those we trusted to educate us, the schools, were in on it. Those who pretended to protect the workers, the unions, were in on it. Those who controlled our money, the bankers and Wall Street, were in on it. The list goes on.

We didn't willing elect this Communist, as you say we did, we just didn't know about him. The media hid the truth from us. Even now, as the few brave souls dig out the truth, the media refuse to report it. The media unmercifully blast GWB for eight years so that the election became "anyone but Bush." After years of political correctness and being called racists about almost anything we were then invited to participate in an historic election and elect a black man we knew nothing about. That is how we were conned. Those of us who voted against him did so because he was a Democrat but many voted for him because he was black. Stop blaming the average American. We were scammed.

But this is a case of fool me once, fool me twice, fool me thrice, fool me fourths....fool me for the hundredth time...same thing over and over and over, thus, it is our fault for continually letting them lie to us, and some people (media) marveling at how well they lie to us (clinton).

We have let this crap go on so long now that I say we are to blame.

And there were plenty of people describing the shadiness of Obama before he was elected.

But sadly either not enough listened or allowed themselves to be fooled again...

How many chances do we deserve? But that’s really a moot question, because it looks like we are about out of chances.

We haven’t had an honest election in a long time, perhaps since 1986. If we can get passed the next election in 2012, without it being stolen, we will be on our way to a turn around. Yet, I am not even sure we will have an election much less a survival one. I know it won’t be honest because the Left has been rigging the polls for so long that they have millions of phony voters on rolls that have been purged in years. Then there will be the millions of illegals who will vote and George Soros has a campaign under warn to elect the Secretary of State in many key states to certify the elections for the Democrats.

But!, if we do then we will probably elect many conservatives and throw the Obama regime out. If not, we will just have to fight them the best we can. They won’t try anything overt because many of us are still armed. However, the purpose for gun registration was so that they would know who has them and where to find them. They are also passing so many laws and regulations that we are all breaking some law or another at any given time. They may slowly and quietly start coming for us. Once that happens it is game on! Every man for himself!
