ATF agents denounce rogue guns transfers Not told of ‘insane’ operation of arms allowed

ATF field agents working in Mexico broke ranks with their supervisors Tuesday during a rancorous five-hour House committee hearing, saying they were kept in the dark about a controversial undercover operation in which hundreds of guns ended up in the hands of Mexican drug cartels.

Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agent Carlos Canino, the ATF acting attache to Mexico; Darren Gil, former attache; and Jose Wall, senior agent in Tijuana, told the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee they had serious concerns about the alarming rate of guns found in violent crimes in Mexico whose source was “Operation Fast and Furious” in Arizona.

“I would like to apologize to my former Mexican law enforcement counterparts and to the Mexican people for Operation Fast and Furious,” said Mr. Gil. “I hope they understand that this was kept secret from most of ATF, including me and my colleagues in Mexico.”

Mr. Gil said he found it “inconceivable” that any competent ATF agent would allow “firearms to disappear at all,” especially on an international border. As a result, he said, the Mexican people will continue to suffer the consequences of narcotics-related firearms violence.

Support Issa and Grassley.

Soon enough Obama will have to stir up trouble for them. They are going after him now. They are talking about a special prosecutor. Once one hits Holder will go out the window.

Some people will no doubt try to fall on the sword, but Issa has been locking people in for a while now. It won;t go away that easy. He already has Holder on perjury.

Simple: By illegally and knowingly trafficking thousands of guns from the U.S. to Mexican drug gangs, the Obozo administration hoped to use the murder and mayhem these weapons caused to destroy the 2nd Amendment and disarm all Americans. Obozo is as bad as any tin pot Communist dictator in Latin and South America. No wonder that he, Hugo Chavez, and Fidel Castro are kindred souls.

This operation has the same purpose as Hitler’s Reichstag fire and Gleiwitz incident.

Evil is as evil does.

About ten days ago I got all three for my DH, he just finished the first one. He’s read parts out loud to me.

Utterly realistic, and very prescient. I highly recommend them. I rarely/nerver read fiction, and there are some very graphic descriptions of torture (so he says) that I can’t handle, so I don’t think I’ll be reading them unless I skip around.

For anyone who has read Rawles’ “Patriots”, this take the genre many leagues forward. They’re very education in many ways and so gripping that DH is having a hard time working on his chores and projects.

Cuz I heard that in addition to two US agents it was over 150 Mexicans, so far, who are dead.

That is 150 Mexican LEOs. No telling how many citizens have been killed with gunwalker guns.

Reasoning.

CSM mentions hive mind. Or group think.

This is getting stranger all the time.

This might be the “G. Gordon Liddy” of the story. He’s the “go between” from the Whitehouse to the ATF. Newell was questioned about their long friendship and “outside of channels” emails.

Exactly right. There can be no compromise with evil.
