As a conservative I've had to live with a lot of dinosaur liberal media bullets aimed my way for a lot of years. For the most part I've never thought it was anything more than the regular give and take of everyday ideological political warfare, and I've always given as good as I've taken so it doesn't bother me.
But every so often the mainstream media lets something slip that makes me wonder if they actually wouldn't mind seeing some of us conservatives assassinated.
In a post on the CNN website Tim Lister writes about websites Norwegian gunman and mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik frequented:

CNN and PMSLSD are identical. No ratings or followers. They say stupid stuff because they know they are like the drunk at the end of the bar babbling incoherently for attention. They usually get none so they feel free to just keep doing it.

The media is part of the government and loves their leader. Reminds me of Hitler. Look at films of Hitler and look at the video of obama accepting the nomination.

Media has always been warped and depraved. Yes, the media is “okay” with conservatives being assassinated. Any despair is feigned.
Saw I guy I know post on FB that he thinks they (leftie/greenie types) should start a war with “Right-Wing nutjobs - not to stop Global Warming or heal the planet just to kill them”. This was the day after the Norway shooting - if this was a conservative posting the same thing about lefties I think he would be in jail already.
Normally this guy is quite friendly to conservatives, me in particular, so I presume he was just angry at the time. The thing is though they will give each other a pass on this type of rhetoric but conservatives get none!

Right under the surface, they want every single conservative, millions and millions of people, dead. Not "changed" or "brought to their senses," or even "made to agree." No.

You really don't get the Left, until you get this.
I read that sentence as meaning that if CNN could have identified the blogger Fjordman they would have, potentially exposing Fjordman to assassination by Muslim extremists looking for payback.
I read the sentence a bit differently, and more innocuously. I read it to mean that CNN was trying to identify the blogger to that they could contact him/her for a quote. How many times do we see in a news article something like "efforts to contact so-and-so were unsuccessful," or "a call to so-and-so on Monday afternoon was unsuccessful"? This seems like the same sort of thing.
I think it's a bit of a stretch to say that because CNN tried to identify an anonymous blogger, CNN is okay with conservatives being assasinated.
It so amazing to see the Left in action when someone like Breivik kills people. Their response: round ‘em up, put ‘em in camps, line ‘em up, shoot ‘em, all of them, all conservatives, right now. Violate whatever laws or constitutions you need to.
Their response is to do a million times the genocide than the original act of violence, yet somehow they still think they are holy.
This is chlillingly true and can be seen not only from reading between the lines of their attitudes and what they say - I have also had a few, when they’ve let down their guard) actually tell me they basically want us all dead. Chilling and evil.
