For a moment Wednesday, Al Franken looked like he was back on the set of Saturday Night Live and not on the floor of the U.S. Senate. In a speech explaining that there would be no money to pay for military and security personnel if Congress doesn’t pass a bill increasing the debt ceiling by Aug. 2, Franken unveiled a large poster in the chamber that said, “Welcome Terrorists.”

Put a comedian in the Senate, and the joke is on you.

It’s one giant SNL moment with liberal Democrats in charge.

Too bad American taxpayers are the punchline.

“Put a comedian in the Senate, and the joke is on you.”

And he was a D+ comedian at best.

He and the Obamaloon would make a good ventriloquist act.

(Still thinking who’d be the puppet.)

Franken won some of Ben Stein's money in 2001. How about this ticket in 2016?

Franken/Stein 2016!

What happens when the real-life, adult-world version of Senator Blutarsky becomes a real-life actual US Senator? It ain’t pretty.

I meant to say Franken got campaign money from Ben Stein in 2008.

What! We here in Minnesota are so, so proud of our illustrious Senator.

Few men are so deserving of the title "Senator" as our own Al FranClown.

Wouldn't have been him winning the election if the MNGOP hadn't run milquetoast Coleman against him.

More RINO nonsense mucking about with "moderates".

He wouldn’t have “won” even against Coleman if it weren’t for the Soros-picked secretary of state.

I mean really, EVERY decision went in Franken’s favor?
Come on. At least TRY not to make it so obvious.

Franken is one of the reasons we need a Voter ID law in MN.

The Repubs better pass one and let Gov. Crazy Eyes Veto it, Then pass it as a Constitutional Amendment and let the voters decide.

Welcome terrorists?

Heck, we have been inviting them in by the hundreds through open borders and an immigration policy that seems to encourage jihadis into our midst. And even when we find them, we promote them up the ranks, make excuses for their violent outbursts and deny the islam connection after they excercise their “religious freedom.”

There’s that. We’d have Governor Emmer as well. Amazing how Mark Ritchie was able to come up with millions in cash, not run much of a campaign, not be liked State-wide, and still retain the SoS position.
