Rs need to pass something better anyway - but they need to have something in Reid’s lap. Can’t let the Dems or McConnell take over.

“He’s not worth a bucket of cold goat phlegm.”

Are you kidding? I’d much rather have a whole bucket of fine, high quality goat phlegm than the weeper.

I reckon he’s worth about one cup of putrifying weasel snot.

Don't these things always get voted on...on "getaway" day(Friday)?

Especially so during summer(or other vacation)season(s).

Just send Cut, Cap and Balance to the Senate, DAMMIT.

Amen AIT. This bill actually prevents a downgrade.

Rush said the same thing this afternoon. Reid will change it and the onus will be on Boehner.

“What is Bonehead gonna do then? Start the strong arming all over again.”

Too bad he doesn’t strong arm some Democrats now and then. I just find it odd that he’s tough with his own Party members but weak in dealing with the other side of the aisle. Boehner must go.

Even former Mexican President Fox said on tonight on Cable that “The US is Broke, if it were a business”

Levin, in my opinion has had his finest hours ever on this issues.
He is bold, smart, straightforward and unafraid.

Except for a few forlorn souls in the House, this whole fiasco is NOTHING but theater, a sham. But what the hell, why not? The American taxpayer is in the minority in this country.

” If Boehner bill fails, it makes it trickier for anything to get through Senate. Dems need it as a vehicle. 4 minutes ago via web.” <<<<

The dang senate can go dig out the CC&B and live with that which is all we should have gone with in the first place!
THIS IS WONDERFUL, I think. There were NO CUTS in Boehner’s paper tiger.

how will McConnell help him?

McConnell's moving ahead to prepare a bill that can be reconciled.

I heard on the radio they went to the House member chapel and prayed together earlier this evening.

“Need to throw this all into Dingy Harry’s lap. Tell him if he doesn’t like how things are going in the House to get off his ass and pass something in the Senate!”

I believe the reason is all budget bill have to start in the house.

Now I agree they could still put something together and hand it to the house but they do not want to do that because it will put focus on them.

There is no way they are not going to raise the ceiling.

True.

There is no way they are going to cut trillions from the budget.

Not all at once anyway. Not unless you get into SS, MC.

Nothing being discussed comes ANYWHERE CLOSE to what is needed to be done.

CCB does. It needs a do over. It will pass the Senate.

“No more compromises. The Senate can debate CCB. The House has done its job.”

Agree 100%. Boehner is needlessly muddying the waters with his follow-on legislative blunders.
