Everyone understands that but we're not in a position today to make "real" cuts of this year's baseline, only to cut down the asinine baseline increase.

Boy, have they got you fooled. Please point to the in place Congressional budget from the last two years. I know you've been listening to Rush about the baseline but what is the baseline? Can it be quantified if there is no actual budget?

Are continuing resolutions the new budget?

Do you play poker? The fear of a thing is greater than the thing itself. Conservatives whooped the establishment in 2010. We're poised to do so again in 2012. We have a power hand and the opponent has admitted to being all bluff. RAISE, don't fold. Or, as Palin would say, now is the time to RELOAD. There's never been a better time to go all-in. Don't be so timid! Being timid in our convictions is what got us into this mess. Fight!

The senate just voted to table Boehner’s bill, and followed with cloiture on Reid’s bill.

It’s going to all be over by Monday, one way or the other. House is slated to vote Reid’s bill at 1:00 tomorrow.

The whole process is sickening to watch. I keep hoping for a positive outcome.

I agree. My night mare is that boohooner will join the rats with 20 rinos to freeze out the results of the last election. That being the case, all hell will break loose and the party as we know it will be no longer.

That’s a funny nick-name! I don’t know. People have always thought of me as sort of a PolliAnna. I just can’t quit believing in the best of people. So, I’m not ready to write Boehner off. But I will admit it is a fear I have as well. It is hard to not expect the worst of any politician after the deceit we have been witness to for the last two years. We’ll see.

We are all walking a fine line right now. One the one hand, we risk being as blind as Germans were with Hitler, and on the other we risk being so cynical that we block hope with unbelief.

Obama set about to cause chaos and in the midst of it get what he came for. He has done a remarkable job. Truly. A study case for History. But will he succeed ultimately? I really don’t think so.

Why?

Because as much as evil would like to believe it controls this world, it really doesn’t.

So, I’m biding my time, and sticking close to the ONE who IS in charge.

Please don’t give up hope? We are all needed in this great battle. :)

The balanced budget amendment needs to be in the bill.....period. Any thing less is total failure.
