Boehner has miss handled this from the beginning. He should have backed CCB with some balls instead of tears. He has no business being in a leadership position.

he still doesn’t understand the motives behind the left

they have no desire to see the American economy do well. that would mean American businesses are doing well... and they **hate** American businesses.

amazing. he doesn’t even know the enemy

"They are people too and we must go along with them and be civil".

Just WOW.

I just don't know how much more of political losing via suicide that I can take.

Obviously government is all a ruse and all in Washington are just acting parts and they know all along what they intend the outcome to be.

If the participants in this governance crisis were reasonable and responsible, there would have been no "crisis" in the first place. To pretend otherwise at this juncture is disingenuous.

No legislation passed to increase the debt ceiling equals a balanced budget amendment. If the government can’t borrow more money, it has to limit the spending to incoming revenue. Sounds like a solution not a crisis!

White House says supports bill lifting debt limit to 2013

The White House said on Saturday it "strongly supports" a bill being considered in the House of Representatives that incorporates both Democratic and Republican ideas and would raise the debt limit to early 2013.

Boner did a fire and forget. Once passed, he should have insisted on a full vote on CCB in the senate and not tried to pass weak bills with watered down spending cuts that never will materialize. That's what I mean!

“Reasonable” means accepting politics as usual.

“Reasonable” means taking your Pork and getting your asses in line.

“Reasonable” means keeping your heel on the throat of businesses, with no real solutions for the 9.2 percent unemployment rate, the coming inflation, the coming devaluation, the coming Social Security collapse, etc.

“Reasonable” means accepting the *real* catastrophe that will be caused by the ridiculous runaway spending and debt, that will be thousands of times more serious than the short term debt ceiling crisis.

We have to continue being “unreasonable,” for the good of the country.

“This is a freaking CHARADE!”

I think all these votes they’re having now are just Kabuki, designed to make it look like they’re “serious about standing up to the Dems” (solely to distract people and *to stop them from calling their Reps*). The backroom is where the real action is, as they’ve been doing all along.

I expect Dems to blatantly lie to people; makes me sick that Reubs would.

You are 100% correct with your analysis of Boehner's actions. Since the passage of CCB he has done nothing to follow through in its support. He quickly went to a fall back position and has been seeking a way to cave ever since.

Just think of the tanning sessions he has missed. And what about all those prime tee times? And the happy hours? They can never be made up.

Quit sugar coating and do your job while you still have it, because a statement like this shows your judgements is questionable at best, although the “reasonable, responsible people” Democrats you reference have demonstrated a much worse lack of judgment
