I reckon it's because of this fine man.
Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz, who at the height of the Pacific war commanded more than two million men and women, 5,000 ships and 20,000 planes, was of humble and landlocked beginnings. Nimitz was born February 24, 1885 to an already widowed mother, and was raised in the small German community of Fredericksburg, Texas.

I grew up in NE Ohio.
Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry is a personal hero.
People have no memory of the war of 1812 and the maritime history of the great lakes

I have seen both sides of that thin line.
You know which side I stand on.

Perry was a good one.
We have met the enemy, and they are ours.

Have you ever shot .357 out of your Airweight?
I’m scared to try a .357 in my S&W 360. I haven’t even tried a +P, a regular .38 hurts just fine.

Perry used natural caverns on South Bass Island as prisons for the BRIT Pigs.
the poor guy didnt fully comprehend his situation, but he was resilient.
He built an armada at Presque Isle and found it could not float over the sand barges once loaded out.
He unloaded the ships, floated them out over the sand bars and the replenished them with quickly constructed barges.

Hey Clint.
It was you that bought the MP15 for $600 right?
Boy o boy are those things hot right now.
They cant keep them on the shelf.
One thing I have learned about those that I like is that SW bought Thompson and they are using a progressive rifling twist that Thompson patented.
It starts 7 in 1 and progresses to 8 in 1 twist

Only thing I don’t like is the cheap plastic handle. It’s slippery and could use some rubber grips.
