5000 Years Ago, Moses Said To Israel, "Pick Up Your Shovels,Mount Your Asses And Camels, And I Will Lead You To The Promised Land."
When Welfare Was Introduced, Roosevelt Said, "Lay Down Your Shovels, Sit On Your Asses, And Light Up A Camel, This Is The Promised Land."
Today The Government Has Stolen Your Shovel, Taxed Your Asses, Raised The Price Of Camels And Mortgaged The Promised Land To China.

Good. Now we can get a special prosecutor for Gunwalker. Let’s get the real party started. But they won’t because they all need to go on vacation. Cowards.

Sounds good, but the GOP has no leverage or motivation to do it. A committee? This just seems like the continuing resulution scenario where we were promised big cuts and it turns out it was $32million or some such paltry amount

The voice of reason....We need more of them..

Incremental victories, win more elections at all levels of government, follow up the policy victories in Wisconsin and Minnesota, Ohio and Indiana, with solid economic growth in those states....I am waiting for more states to resist Obama care, and starting to take control of their own natural resources..

I am actually very proud of my country today..I am happy to be a part of a party that includes intellectual challenges, debate and doesn't march in lockstep always..Not like a bunch of brain dead socialists spouting the leftist cliche's.

It doesn’t “allow” them to expire, it might not include a provision making them permanent, but they were due to expire anyway.

Hopefully the new Republican President and Congress can implement them retroactively on 1/20/13 the day we get our country back.

No, we’re way past crisis 253. Like I said it’s just part of the playbook.

“This will have to be renewed.”

Right, that’s the ticket on that.

In fact, forget the Bush tax cuts, we need to have a BIG DISCUSSION ON EVERYTHING and we need to have it over the next 13 months.

Then we need to VOTE next November.

He was a Bush advisor...so to him, I guess this is a “conservative” thing that is happening. To me, it is bs. The usual bs.

Spot on!!

This clown claims; “Obama and the Democrats caved: $2 trillion in spending cuts. No tax increases. A new precedent that debt-limit hikes must be accompanied by equal or greater cuts in spending.”

There are NO CUTS. Spending and the debt increase.

No tax increases this week, but they are scheduled to take effect later.

“A new precedent that debt-limit hikes must be accompanied by equal or greater cuts in spending.”
This is not new! It is Nancy Pelosi”s Paygo reworded.

The only people who won are Democrats and “compassionate conservatives”.

I wonder....did the Tea Party support this bill? I didn’t think so, but if the MSM says so....

I have no problem if someone wants to correct me.
