Herman Cain Apologizes … to the Muslim Brotherhood
Pajamas Media ^ | 30 July 2011 | Ryan Mauro

If Cain opposes Sharia-based governance, then he picked the wrong group to reach out to.

Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain has been under fire for saying communities should be able to stop the construction of mosques. So he apologized, following a visit to a mosque led by Imam Mohamed Magid, the president of Muslim Brotherhood branch the Islamic Society of North America.

If this is true than it sounds like Herman has a few skeletons in his closet that somebody has warned him just might get out.

Communities can stop the building (or expanding) of churches, so why not mosques?

Cain seems to have problem deal with foreign policy issues. You would have never guessed that on his Atlanta show. But it seems he is not boned up on issues. That is too bad because out of all of the candidates who are running it seems only Bachmann and McCotter might be left as my choices. So if anyother wins, other than a Palin entry, I’ll be opposed. Unless Cain keeps boning up on the issues. But apologizing to the Muslim Brotherhood is 100% wrong.

Hopefully the Americans will not vote for him.

you don´t need an apologist as a leader.

Here in Europe our leaders say something against islam ,within an hour of upsetting them ,our leader are in a mosque, ar.se in the air asking for forgiveness.

A true westen leader

A true westen leader should have the guts to tell muslims we don´t need your religion of hatred and intolerance .

The group says it “rejects all acts of terrorism, including those perpetrated by Hamas, Hizbullah and any other group that claims Islam as their inspiration.”

I don’t believe this for a second.
///
you are correct to not believe them.
taquiyya permits them to lie.
a religion, that specificly authorizes lying and deceiving. (in addition to terrorizing unbelievers.)

however, in this case, they are basically telling the truth. the Muslim Brotherhood does reject violent means. they prefer to infiltrate, and use demographics.
they have the same goal as Al-Queda, just different methods.

...the Muslim Brotherhood’s OWN official plan in the USA is
ALREADY IN STAGE 3:

Yeah West did. Basically according to Limbaugh, Allen West ranted at Debbie in an email and called her names following a Debbie rant on the house floor where she went after him. He was upset at her. Then Limbaugh thinks he became scared that that she was trashing him for cutting benefits to all hispanics and elderly. So he apologized and then voted for the Boehner Bill in the House. So Limbaugh says because of Debbie’s campaign against him in Florida, he grew scared and supported Beohner’s Bill. But now both sides deny an apology.
But West ranted about getting Tea Party criticism for his vote on Laura Ingraham. And Laura vowed to help campaign for him.

You have to love republicans, the “apologize party”. Apparently not a damn one of them can speak the truth, without apologizing for it.

So he apologized and then voted for the Boehner Bill in the House

I knew about (and was disappointed by) the underlined part, but if he'd actually apologized to that deranged skank it surely would've been trumpted by the kneepad networks for days and days.

Though Rush is pretty savvy, he's by no means infallible, so his 'thinking' it doesn't make it so. The two issues seem totally separate. West's background and character is such that I can disagree with his vote on Boehner's mess w/o kicking him to the curb.

Having said that however, to apologize to that DWS whore would be a deal breaker for this voter.

(and thanks for the reply)

“...has a few skeletons in his closet...”

No joke! If a conservative wants to run for office, COME CLEAN with anything in your past. Get rid of all secrets, because they will come out. Their hidden sins will be used against them.

I wonder if that’s the reason so many Pubs in DC go up there and turn chicken. There is something they don’t want to get out, and the opposition is EXPERT in finding just what that is.

Remember Filegate?

While I stand by my opposition to the interference of Sharia law into the American legal system … I am truly sorry for any comments that may have betrayed my commitment to the U.S. Constitution and the freedom of religion guaranteed by it. Muslims, like all Americans, have the right to practice their faith freely and peacefully.

this is the statement put out by Herman Cain according to this article. This statement is little more than a generic endorsment of the constitutional freedom of religion tacked on to his reiteration of opposition to Sharia law. I don’t see how this gives the Militant Islamists much to work with...

From the Miami Herald, quoting Roll Call:

“Freshman Rep. Allen West said Wednesday that he has apologized to Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz for calling her ‘vile, unprofessional and despicable’ in an email.

‘I just apologized to her,’ West (R-Fla.) told reporters.

But West was anything but contrite, remorseful or apologetic about the dustup in an email to supporters earlier in the day.

It’s no surprise Democrats and women’s groups used West’s now-infamous email to raise money, but the fiery tea-party-affiliated Congressman used the incident himself in a fundraising solicitation to supporters.”

Sadly, 93% of all media reporting is done by LIBERALS. We can either disregard their stuff or take it with a grain of salt.

There are some FReepers here who talk to West periodically in person. Their reports will be the determining factor for me.

Thanks for the update.

I'll join you in withholding judgement until such time as first-hand FReeper accounts filter in, but if it's true it'll be a huge disappointment.

Going by his campaign last year and his excellent public lectures on terrorism/islam and downsizing goobermint readily accessible on YouTube, he seemed/seems like the honest to God real deal.

Please ping me if you hear anything more ?

So this is what happens to Cain after the first good media beating. Glad the primaries haven’t really gotten going yet.
