GOP presser LIVE on FOX
FOX News | Aug 1, 2011 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 08/01/2011 1:11:13 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

The GOP "leadership" is united in lying to the public while they stab us in the back.

I must correct their lies. There is not a nickle in spending cuts in this bill.

It's absolutely idiotic to pile on more debt and continue spending when you're already so deeply in debt that you can never get out.

No deal would be better than this MARXIST POS!!

It's the spending, stupid!!

Tea Party Freshmen: HOLD THE LINE!!

Rebellion is brewing!!

Reinforcements coming in 2012!!

I agree. Any raise in the debt ceiling, regardless of whether there are any cuts, is stupid and prolonging the agony, as well as making things way worse.

Damn these people. Apparently, they just might have to be forced to stop spending.

I can't wait for one of the several dozen branches of the GOP to call me or write me for a donation. I'll be making one all right - directly to the Tea Party and I'll send a copy of the receipt to the GOP - every time!

They want spending cuts - they'll get proof of ‘em! Grrrrrrrr!!

I really haven’t heard of a single program that’s being cut. Seems you’d have to hear of something actually being cut.

The Central Committee, that is the gang of 12, is under no constraints as to what legislation they can send that must have an up or down vote with no filibuster or amendments. The Progressives seem to have enough in both houses to pass anything they want and call it bipartisan, including things the GOP stopped through such measures in the first two years of Obamadom.

Way to go Jim! Here's my prescription:

1. Cut spending to the bone. Use the revenue we have incoming to pay the debt interest, pay the military, pay social security and medicare. Priotritze everything else after that and spend NO MORE than what comes in.

2. CAP sepnding NOW, at a modest rate of GNP that allows us to balance the budget in five years minimum.

3. Pass the Balanced Budget Amendment NOW and send it to the states.

4. Inact legislation (or an amendment if necessary) that requires anyone receiveing Federal or State Aid for their income to be ineligable to vote until they are off that aid.

If we did these four things, we would end our economic quandry, and we would break the back of the socialists in this country.

My letter to my Reps about the Debt Ceiling and Budget

If it passes Repubs are gonna face a bigtime financial implosion of the Feral government budget in 2013.

Whata bunhca yahoos.

Why didn’t they just wait for the Dems - make them choose what to cut. Imagine how unpopular they all would be by 2012.

Now, if this passes, the Dems are going to try to hobble across the goal line of the election 2012 and minimize the damage to themselves.

Hopefully Tea Party can get enough nays.

Why aren’t more Congresscritters scared to heap on that debt ?

Downgrade is happening anyway - at least in bond buyers’ minds within a few months.

“In addition, they intend to kill the Tea Party with this bill.”

Spot on! And to think, some “tea partiers” may vote to cut their own throats.

Notice, Boner was not on RUSH today. He tried and failed to convince 20 million conservatives.

Instead, he’s going to try and convince the Dems to go along with him to defeat 20 million of us.

The tea party freshmen are our last slender hope. It’s a tiny beachhead and their traitorous “leaders” are twisting their arms to surrender! The proper patriotic response is NUTS!

Hold the line!!

Reinforcements are coming!!

Michele Bachmann just told them true. NO SURRENDER!! VOTE NO!!

So who do we call?

The GOP members that are voting “FOR” it or the Tea Party members who are holding out against it?

Anyone got a list of telephone numbers they can post?

TIA.

Just called Peter King’s office. Phone answerer said he believes we must compromise so will vote for it. Said I will
be voting and supporting a primary challenger for him as a compromise.

I'll be making one all right - directly to the Tea Party and I'll send a copy of the receipt to the GOP - every time!

Good idea. I'll do the same. And I'm going to let every Republican who votes for this monstrosity that they will no longer receive any donations from me.

You are right smokey, the idea here is to attack it from both sides of the asile. Nothing like having a vermin 5th column as part of the revolution.

They must have the votes because they all look and sound too happy to suit me. Wait for the look of amazement when the bush tax cuts expire and the house and senate try to get a bill past the jerk in charge...never happen.

Folks we got to fight back the only way we can, they cannot put us all in jail. Put down as many phoney deductions as you can, have as little as you can withheld and if enough people do it whom are on the government hand in your pocket every pay day plan, the G will be sucking wind.
