Inact legislation (or an amendment if necessary) that requires anyone receiveing Federal or State Aid for their income to be ineligable to vote

I'd extend that to all government employees, excluding the Military.

They could also step in and freeze gold and silver trading on the pretense of stopping “speculators” who are “destroying the economy”, or some such nonsense.

I wouldn’t put it past them. I wouldn’t put anything past them.

Good idea and they all take massive pay cuts effective immediately. Let them all survive on 45K a year with no cost of living allowance and crappy health care.

I'd do the vote on ending baseline budgeting first.

And then if that passes, schedule more votes.

Stand firm, Tea Party. In fact, start pushing back! Propose real cuts to, and eliminations of, existing federal agencies and programs. Insist upon a balanced budget amendment.

DO NOT ALLOW A DEBT INCREASE!

DO NOT ALLOW A DEBT INCREASE!

DO NOT ALLOW A DEBT INCREASE!

Exactly. Immediate cuts, and Obama looks like an incompetent fool.

We HAVE a mechanism to control the National Debt.

It’s called the Debt Ceiling.

USE IT!

Don’t increase it! LOWER IT!

ALL of the plans that have been considered so far (Including CCB) are nothing but smoke and mirrors to mask the fact that the BEST of these plans only make cuts to projected increases and all of them still set the National Debt on a path to increase by around 1 Trillion or more per year!

The fact that ALL of these lying politicians are not ALREADY swinging from lamp posts says all that need be said about our civility....

“GOP lawmakers said the super committee could well recommend a rise in taxes, which would be passed by the House.”

*In addition, financial experts warned the U.S. credit rating was still likely to be downgraded, as figures revealed the U.S. has entered a double-dip recession and the Dow Jones average today fell to a level barely above the point indicating growth. *

“would be the largest increase in the debt limit in U.S. history by a margin of half a trillion dollars”

“Rebellion is brewing!!” “Oh how I wish that was true.”

Just remember they call us the silent majority for a reason. I think that they believe that we went back to sleep or have given up. I truly believe that the tea party is alive and well. I also believe that we are growing and that we were smart enough to know that 2010 was only the beginning. We will swarm them like killer bees in 2012 & 2014, both sides of the isle.

We need to keep in mind that commies on the otherside of the isle have been slowly moving us towards communism for 100 years. We cannot change that in one election. Like Mark Levin says this is going to take YEARS to turn this ship around.

I have starting to hear my a-political friend talking politics and they are asking lots of questions and are slowly but surly wakeing up and getting pissed. The tea party is still growing.

Did any Tea Partiers vote for this travesty? Seemed to all go so smoothly and quickly. What happened to the guy who in the House who wanted to mount a filabuster?

Jeff, I would like to add a number 5 to your list.

5. Offer a “bounty” on waste and fraud. Anybody who identifies a specific instance or example of waste or fraud receives 1% of the money that is saved.

Thanks. We just need to not retreat. We need to double the number of real conservatives/conservative libertarians in House/Senate. The problem is with the inside the beltway thinking. Democrats still have the advantage in the sense that they still define winning by the ground they haven’t yet taken while the GOP defines winning by how much they don’t give up that they expected to. That isn’t a strategy for winning no matter how you look at it.

Before the Tea Party was a national phenomenon, I used to post that it might be time to throw tea in the harbor. I wonder if that time has come.

Besides claiming more deductions, anybody have any ideas how to not pay payroll taxes? This would certainly get Washington’s attention.

Also remember that ALL incumbents donate to the NRSC or the NRCC. So, even though you donate to the individual candidate, it may be going to ANOTHER incumbent in another state/district that the national committee wants to keep in, but that you would like to see ousted.

I really think we need a third Party, the GOP will never do what is necessary to shrink Government.

They are too afraid to do so.
