David Hyde Pierce is an absolute acting genius. Most episodes make me laugh out loud. Kelsey grammar is very good as well. But Pierce could also make me cry, in some of those scenes he did in the seasons where he was pining in love with Daphne.
That has to be the best cast acting ensemble with the best writers on tv. Nothing else comes close. They Expected their audience to be well read and intelligent, and what other sitcom ever did? I could watch it every day. Some of the episodes are like short Moliere plays, perfect little comedies of error.
Not sure I want President Frasier but I thank him for entertaining me all these years.
