Obviously, you’re used to softballs.

Godwin said that the danger of his “Godwin’s Law” is that it makes light of the holocaust.

But he obviously is not very thoughtful.

You see, the left always attacks others of what they are guilty of.

Thus, they call conservatives fascists.

The danger of that is that it minimizes what fascists really are. You see, fascism has an economic theory behind it. In short, the state chooses a few private manufacturers from each industry to provide all the goods and services for that industry. All competition dries up and blows away. The state controls the people through those representatives of each industry. The state also dictates the economic policy that the businesses and the people have to abide by.

You see, the plan is really quite simple. You let a few people control the economic behavior of all those “confused, stupid, selfish masses” and everything will be better.

The NAZIs adopted the fascist economic policies that Italy was using under Mussolini.

You see, softball, fascism and socialism are essentially the same in that they both believe a central authority should control the economy (not the free market, which is comprised of you and me).

What the DNC and Obammie and his Commies crammed down our throats yesterday was a massive, fistful of central management.

See my post #277 on this thread, and you may have an idea why the DNC and their little helpers the RINOs are following the same economic policy the NAZIs used:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2757222/posts?q=1&;page=279#279

But you, softball, need to get your head out of the sane and realize that Godwin and his little leftist buddies devise such cute little terms as “Godwin’s laws” so that you feel foolish for likening them to NAZIs.

I don’t. Because I know that they are following the same policies. And I know that many of them, if given the opportunity, would have no problem loading conservatives like you and me onto a train “for the common good.”

Let me pause to admire the incredible reach of that statement and then point out all I did was point out that in 26 posts that started about a Congresswoman's recovery the phrase Nazi came up. From a conservative site, to a fellow conservative. So, does that mean that the fellow in post 26 is really a Nazi and is accusing the OP of being one?

I’m not sure what you’re asking.

My point is that Godwin and his fellow followers of Saul Alinsky invent terms like that as a form of ad hominem attack to discredit anyone who violates their “law.”

They especially do that when one of their opponents uses an argument that is entirely valid.

Here’s GoPM’s law:

“Godwin’s law is a logical fallacy.”

So there ya go.
