.WASHINGTON (AP) — Emergency legislation to avoid an economy-rattling government default sped through the House Monday night, a scant day before the deadline for action — the dramatic vote made all the more memorable by Rep. Gabrielle Giffords' first appearance in Congress since suffering a head wound in a shooting six months ago.
The vote was 269-161, but all eyes were on Giffords, who drew thunderous applause as she walked into the House chamber and cast her vote in favor of the bill.

I’ll add that those who actually died were mostly ignored. If she’d been a Republican the story would’ve lasted 3 days. I still thank God for her recovery.

The only way substantive cuts are going to be made to this debt is that every last member of the Gimme Stuff Party is voted out of Congress. They and their Dem constituents have placed this country on the road to economic oblivion for the past 50 years.They care not a whit about the future of this country or for the children and grandchildren they have burdened with their selfishness and need for instant gratification...End of rant

Gabriell can out think any of those clowns so let her serve out her term and see how see does in her re election campaign if she wants to stay in office.
2013 is going to a bit different than 2009 and Pima county will get the representation they deserve.
