Tea Party’s War on America

Tea Party’s War on America By JOE NOCERA

You know what they say: Never negotiate with terrorists. It only encourages them.

These last few months, much of the country has watched in horror as the Tea Party Republicans have waged jihad on the American people. Their intransigent demands for deep spending cuts, coupled with their almost gleeful willingness to destroy one of America’s most invaluable assets, its full faith and credit, were incredibly irresponsible. But they didn’t care. Their goal, they believed, was worth blowing up the country for, if that’s what it took.

Like ideologues everywhere, they scorned compromise. When John Boehner, the House speaker, tried to cut a deal with President Obama that included some modest revenue increases, they humiliated him. After this latest agreement was finally struck on Sunday night — amounting to a near-complete capitulation by Obama — Tea Party members went on Fox News to complain that it only called for $2.4 trillion in cuts, instead of $4 trillion. It was head-spinning.

All day Monday, the blogosphere and the talk shows mused about which party would come out ahead politically. Honestly, who cares? What ought to matter is not how these spending cuts will affect our politicians, but how they’ll affect the country. And I’m not even talking about the terrible toll $2.4 trillion in cuts will take on the poor and the middle class. I am talking about their effect on America’s still-ailing economy.

America’s real crisis is not a debt crisis. It’s an unemployment crisis. Yet this agreement not only doesn’t address unemployment, it’s guaranteed to make it worse.

Now all I have to do is find time and energy to join them.

“they scorned compromise”?
“Tea Party members went on Fox News to complain that it only called for $2.4 trillion in cuts, instead of $4 trillion.”

Even with the $4 trillion there would have been NO cuts. And the debt would have continued to rise year after year. That’s even assuming that future congresses would honor this deal. Not likely.
To say that they Republicans or Tea Party Republicans did not want to compromise really means that did not capitulate even further.

Well, let’s just make sure the war is waged skillfully, and to completion, and that only unconditional surrender is accepted.

The thorniest problem will be the disposition of the enemy POWs at war’s end. Should we even take prisoners?

This is analogous to them using homosexual terms to denigrate conservatives.

Most CEO say they won't hire as long as that Terrorist is President.

Oh how many jobs has the New York Times created? or lost?

As for Nancy's unemployment benefits stimulus how did that work?

Most people think that as long as Obama is President there will be no new jobs.

It was Obama's Weather Underground buddies, Ayers and Dohrn, who were at war with America.

"Their founding document [the Weather Underground's] called for the establishment of a "white fighting force" to be allied with the "Black Liberation Movement" and other "anti-colonial" movements[1] to achieve "the destruction of US imperialism and the achievement of a classless world: world communism."..."-Berger, Dan (2006). With the national debt at $14 trillion and democrats wanting to raise it by 2-3 trillion more, the Tea Partiers are called terrorists and the enemy waging war on the U.S. because they have the honesty to say “No more. The nation can’t afford it”

The ones who are willing to sacrifice by advocating budget cuts that will probably hurt us personally, are labeled as “hostage takers” because the other side wants to spend money they don’t have.

Go figure.

My own view is that Obama should have played the 14th Amendment card, using its language about “the validity of the public debt” to unilaterally raise the debt ceiling.

Is this “end justifies the means” policy he is pushing better? These people are such hypocrates! I like the way this writer cites articles (also from The Times) to prove his point. I think they are mad because we are not as stupid as we look (to them).

The debt ceiling increase WAS the compromise....or at least was supposed to be the compromise. In exchange for reducing the 1.5 trillion dollar deficit we are running. That’s why they were voted in. The voters continue to be on our side....I hope we are able to maintain that because if this next election does not go well for conservatives, this ship is sunk.

And I’m not even talking about the terrible toll $2.4 trillion in cuts will take on the poor and the middle class.

List very closely, Joe. There are no cuts. None at all. Every single year more will be spent that in the previous year. All this agreement did was very slightly rein in the galloping increases in planned spending, especially in far future years which will almost certainly be ignored by future Congresses.

Also, Joe, please consider the terrible toll $14 trillion in debt increasing to well over $20 trillion in the next few years will have on the poor, middle class and rich.

excerpt...

In 1969, Ayers and his wife convened a "War Council" in Flint Michigan, whose purpose was to launch a military front inside the United States with the purpose of helping Third World revolutionaries conquer and destroy it.

Taking charge of the podium, dressed in a high-heeled boots and a leather mini-skirt – her signature uniform – Dorhn incited the assembled radicals to join the war against "Amerikkka" and create chaos and destruction in the "belly of the beast."

Her voice rising to a fevered pitch, Dohrn raised three fingers in a "fork salute" to mass murderer Charles Manson whom she proposed as a symbol to her troops. Referring to the helpless victims of the Manson Family as the "Tate Eight" (the most famous was actress Sharon Tate) Dohrn shouted:

Dig It. First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them, they even shoved a fork into a victim’s stomach! Wild!..."

The email I just sent this guy.....

Your extreme rhetoric in calling those you disagree with ‘terrorists’ is typical of the left-wing. It has been the progressive movement and the demcorat party though who have a rich history of using terrorism. The KKK was the terrorist wing of the democrat party. After republicans had defeated the KKK it was the progressive movement that again revived them. Many of the policies of the demcorats and the progressives today are still based upon the terrorist policies of the KKK. Abortion and the murder of millions of babies started with the KKK, separation of church and state was started by the KKK as well. Then of course you have the other terrorist progressive left-wing groups like the Weather Underground, ELF, ALF, CodePink, etc… the left-wing progressives use any means possible to destroy their fellow Americans and to create policies that even target our children and future generations. The only jobs that your policies would create are government jobs that would further attack the liberty of our children and future generations. You should be ashamed of yourself but instead you seem to take joy in the hate you support and the misery for America you espouse.

BOTH OBAMA AND OSAMA HAVE
FRIENDS WHO BOMBED THE PENTAGON

_________________________________________________________

From HumanEvents.com, April 29, 2008:
"By all accounts, he [Obama friend and associate, Bill Ayers] was a ferocious, violent, revolutionary Marxist in his halcyon days as a Weatherman leader. He and his Weatherman bombers were enamored of Ho Chi Minh, Che Guevara, Fidel Castro, Mao Tse-tung -- indeed, all the murderous heroes on the Left. Referring to the Weatherman members in August 1969, he said (according to the FBI): 'We’re revolutionary Communists.'

He got off on the group’s multiple explosions, too, and discusses them rather lovingly in his memoir.

Ideal Bombing Weather:
'Everything was absolutely ideal on the day I bombed the Pentagon,' he writes (although he concedes it was really a group effort). 'The sky was blue. The birds were singing. And the bastards were finally going to get what was coming to them.' (p. 256 in the 2003 edition.)

FRIENDS WHO WANTED TO BOMB FORT DIX

From David Horowitz's FrontPageMag.com/DiscoverTheNetworks.org:

2007 Fort Dix attack plot

A group of six radical Islamist[1] men, allegedly plotting to stage an attack on the Fort Dix military base in New Jersey, United States, were arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on May 7, 2007. They were subsequently charged with planning an attack against U.S. soldiers. The alleged aim of the six men was said to be to "kill as many soldiers as possible".[2] Their trial began on October 20, 2008. [3]

Opening arguments were presented on October 20, 2008.
Assistant U.S. Attorney William Fitzpatrick said the defendants were inspired by jihad saying "Their motive was to defend Islam. Their inspiration was Al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden.

America’s real crisis is not a debt crisis.

So prove it. Don't just throw this comment out and leave it. Dig out your high school math skills and prove this statement. By the way, what where Obama's algebra grades? That might be a relevant thing to know in this argument.

Review your knowledge of exponential curves and look at our governments debt.

It should be pretty clear now that our elites view the American people as the biggest threat to them.

Obama is the one waging jihad on the American people.

Not jihad, communist revolution. aka "fundamental transformation", aka "Change".

“Someone give this man a pill............ “

This man is rolling out the overall strategy for the 2012 elections. He and others are providing key words that will be used over and over- jihad, terrorist, holding a gun, holding a gun to America’s head, arson, burning America, and so forth. Guns, fire, terrorism, TEA Party.

Lengthy articles like this one at first until the concepts are planted, then later, just using the word (now pre-loaded with definitions and nuance) will be enough.

The Dems can’t run FOR anything except “change” and “justice” and other undefined concepts. They must run AGAINST something to give them a platform. Looks like the platform will be the TEA Party.

Just like how everything was Bush’s Fault (a strategery that worked well), everything now will be against those terrorist TEA Party members, their shadowy supporters, and anyone who takes their side.

ACORN and SEIU will openly attack some “TEA Party” unfortunates and the US Justice Dept will do nothing. hate speech will flow unabated from the TV sets.

When I read articles and see TV commentators make comments like this re: the TEA Party..I smile.

I smile because I know they see progressivism waning and they know they are powerless to stop it so this is just emotional lashing out

If I let it- this stuff would make me angry.

I don’t know if tea party rally’s are still happening, I’ve not heard of any in my state (Al) but we need to keep them happening. And if they are - instead of getting angry I am going to try to find out if there is a tea party rally in my state anytime soon- if so- for the fist time in my 50+ years I will attend a political rally... just because the tea party has apparently driven the likes of NYT and Joe Biden off the deep end.
